More than 535 air and ground strikes are the outcome of the 3rd day of the most violent escalation and more casualties raise the death toll to 781 since the implementation of the Russian – Turkish truce

The Russian and Syrian warplanes and helicopters do not almost leave the airspace of both Hama and Idlib countryside causing more destruction and dropping their missiles and barrel bombs on the residents who live in there, and when they leave for few minutes, the intensive ground shelling covers these areas, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the increased number of barrel bombs which have been dropped by helicopters since morning on areas in both countryside, which reached 151 barrels until the today’s sunset, where they were distributed as follows: 19 on Kafrenbudeh and its vicinity, 12 on Kafr Nubl, 12 on al-Hbit, 11 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 10 on Ihsim, 9 on Tremla, 8 on Abdita, 7 on the outskirts of Sheikh Mustafa, 6 on Bsaqla and its outskirts, 6 on Hazarin town, 5 on Rakaya, 4 on Kafr Oweid and its outskirts, 4 on the outskirts of Naqir, 4 on the northern and southern outskirts of Hass, 4 on the outskirts of Tal Hawash, 3 on Abdeen and its vicinity, 3 on Oraynabah, 2 barrels on each for Kura, Baarbu, Mughr al-Hamam, Iblin, Mashoun, Al-Huwayz, Hawija, al-Faqea’, the vicinity of Maaret Herma, the outskirts of Kafr Sajnah and the vicinity of Kafr Zita town.

In the same context, the SOHR monitored new raids by Russian warplanes which targeted areas in the outskirts of Kafr Nuble in the south-western countryside of Idlib, and the vicinity of Kafr Oweid and Karsaa towns in the same countryside, and the outskirts of Baarbu in the southern countryside of Idlib, raising to at least 42, the number of Russian strikes which targeted Sahl Al-Ghab, Jabal Shashabo, and both southern countryside of Idlib and northern countryside of Hama, they are: 8 on Al-Huwayz, 5 on Maaret Herma and its outskirts, 4 on the outskirts of Kansafra leaving a man, his wife and 2 of their children dead, 4 raids on the outskirts of Naqir, 3 on the outskirts of Al-Barah and Horsh Hass, 2 raids on each for Al-Ankawi, Halloubah, Kafr Nabudah, Abdeen, al-Qassabiyyeh, Baarbu, Kafr Oweid, Karsaa and Kafr Nubl, in addition to 7 raids by the regime’s warplanes 5 of which targeted places in al-Qassabiyyeh village and its outskirts, a raid on al-Sahriyya and another raid on Tal Hawash, while the warplanes opened fire of their heavy machinegun, on areas in the towns of Khan Sabil and  Tell Mardikh in the northern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, and Abdeen, Quqfin and Maaret Herma in the south-western countryside of Idlib.

And with regard to the heavy ground shelling since morning, the Syrian Observatory documented 342 rocket and artillery shells of which the town of Al-Hbit had the largest share, where the regime forces targeted the town by 110 rocket shells followed by 70 other shells on Qalaat Al-Madiq town, 50 shells on each for Al-Ankawi and Kafr Zita, 40 on Kafr Hamra and Haritan towns, 22 on Al-Mshirfah, Al-Huwayz, Al-Lataminah and Hawija, in the same context, the factions operating in the northern countryside of Hama, targeted by rocket shells, positions of the regime forces in Buraydij Camp and other areas in Al-Suqaylabiyah town, which is inhabited by Christian citizens, while the SOHR documented the death of a man affected by the injury he had in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Kafr Nabudah town in the north-western countryside of Hama, and another man from Abdita village as a result of bombardment by barrel bombs by helicopters on places in the area.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 12th day, to 185 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 2nd of May 2019, they are 68 civilians including 14 children and 16 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 4 civilians casualty was killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 28 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 70 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 2nd of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 552 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 305 civilians including 85 children under the age of eighteen and 73 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 28 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 88 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 54 fighters of the “jihadis” and 159 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 781 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 385 civilians including 117 children and 85 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 31 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 155 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 68 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 241 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
