Warplanes of the regime and the Russians start the 7th day of the most violent escalation by about 55 airstrikes on Aleppo, Hama, and Idlib causing casualties and wounded
Regime’s helicopters dropped on Monday morning more than 13 barrel bombs targeting by 8 of them al-Hbit town south of Idlib and 5 barrels on Kafr Nabudah town north of Hama, in conjunction with intensive and violent ground shelling carried out by the regime forces on areas in both towns, while the regime planes targeted by 4 raids places in Kafrsajna and the southern outskirts of Idlib countryside and two raids of al-Sayyad village, also the Sukhoi warplanes carried out 2 raids on places in the abandoned battalion area in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside, while clashes are taking place in al-Janabera area and Kafr Nabudah in the northern countryside of Hama, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions operating in the area, accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling.
In the same context, the Russian warplanes continue their intensive shelling within the “demilitarized” area, where they carried out at least 33 raids since after midnight of yesterday until the morning of today, they are: 4 on the vicinity of Khan al-Sobol, 4 on Tremla, 4 on Abdita, 3 on Zerba village and al-Hmira south of Aleppo, 2 raids on each of Hersh al-Qassabiyyeh, Mughr al-Hamam, the vicinity of Kafr Owaid, Kafr Sajna, north of Khan Shaykhun, Qlidin, al-Naqir, vicinity of Shannan and the vicinity of Mozra, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a child in the Russian shelling on Shannan village, while the Russian warplanes targeted before midnight of yesterday the area of Rube’ al-Jor east of Hish, Rakaya village, outskirts of Ma’aret Hurmah, Latmin, and Tremla , which killed 5 civilians including 3 women and a child in the Russian airstrikes that targeted Rube’ al-Jor.
Raising to 17, the number of people who were killed in the aerial and missile bombardment on Sunday, the 5th of May 2019, they are: 5 including 3 citizen women and one child were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment that targeted Rube’ al-Jor east of Hish, a man and his female child were killed in bombardment by the Russian warplanes on Tremla in the southwestern countryside of Idlib, and a man was killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on Jisr al-Shughur countryside, and another man was killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on al-Hbit town, and 2 citizens were killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on Kafr Nubl, a man was killed in shelling by the Russian warplanes on Orient Hospital in Kafr Nubl, a woman was killed in shelling by the Russian warplanes on areas in Hass town, a fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was killed in shelling by the regime forces on Qal’aat al-Madiq, 2 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza were killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on areas in Kafr Nabudah town at the northwestern countryside of Hama, and a woman died affected by injuries she had in bombardment by warplanes 3 days ago on areas at Bsaqla town on the outskirts of Jabal al-Zawiyah.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 93, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 59 civilians including 8 children and 17 citizen women, where 22 of them including 5 female children and 7 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 16 including 6 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 9 including a woman, a child, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 10 people including 3 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, while at least 17 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, and 3 of the factions were killed in clashes against the regime forces, in addition to the killing of 12 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 14th day, to 247 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 6th of May 2019, they are 110 civilians including 22 children and 27 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 35 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 5 of the factions were killed during clashes against the regime force and bombardment by warplanes, and 78 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 4th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 622 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 347 civilians including 92 children under the age of eighteen and 85 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 107 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 69 fighters of the “jihadis” and 167 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 852 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 428 civilians including 124 children and 97 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 174 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 82 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 249 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
