With an extensive ground and air cover, the regime forces achieve the first advancement since the beginning of the heaviest escalation and control a village north Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes continue in areas at the northern sector of Hama countryside, between the regime forces supported by their loyal gunmen against factions operating in the area, where the regime forces managed to control Janabera village (al-Bana), amid the continuation of clashes north of the village in an attempt by the factions to restore it, also the regime forces are trying to control Tal al-Othman with an intense air and ground cover, while the Russian warplanes carried out at least 3 raids targeting places in al-Sermaniyyeh town at the northwestern countryside of Hama, also the helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on places in al-Qassabiyyeh and Kafrenbudeh, but no information about casualties yet.

In the same context, regime’s Sukhoi warplanes carried out more than 17 raids on the countryside of Idlib and Hama since this morning, they are: 3 raids on each of Kafr Nabudah, Abdeen, al-Hbit, Kansafra, and the outskirts of Mra’eian, and 2 raids on the abandoned battalion area east of Idlib, while it rose to 3, the number of people who were killed today, they are 2 civilians were killed in the Russian raids on al-Zerba village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and a child was killed in the Russian aerial bombardment on Shannan village, and in another context, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a citizen affected by injuries he had in rocket shelling of by the regime forces on Saraqib town on the 7th of April 2019.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 95, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 61 civilians including 8 children and 17 citizen women, where 24 of them including 5 female children and 7 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 16 including 6 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 9 including a woman, a child, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 10 people including 3 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, while at least 17 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, and 3 of the factions were killed in clashes against the regime forces, in addition to the killing of 12 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 14th day, to 249 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 6th of May 2019, they are 112 civilians including 22 children and 27 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 35 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 5 of the factions were killed during clashes against the regime force and bombardment by warplanes, and 78 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 4th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 625 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 350 civilians including 92 children under the age of eighteen and 85 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29  people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 107 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 69 fighters of the “jihadis” and 167 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 855 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 431 civilians including 124 children and 97 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 174 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 82 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 249 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
