More than 220 airstrikes and hundreds of rocket and artillery shells shower both northern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib, and the factions continue their attack and recover points they lost hours ago, and the spokesperson of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham says in a statement “any attempt by the forces of the Russian occupation to enter our virtuous and liberated land will be met with fire”
Violent clashes are still continuing between factions operations in the northern countryside of Hama on one hand, against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on the other, in the areas of Tal Osman and Al-Bana in the northern countryside of Hama, amid advancement by the factions, the recovery of Tal Osman and the continuation of violent clashes in the vicinity of Al-Bana, in conjunction with shelling by tens of missiles by the regime force on the clash areas, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 5 citizens who were killed today, Monday, against the backdrop of the ongoing aerial and ground shelling in the 7th consecutive day of the most violent escalation ever, they are: 2 citizens who were killed in the Russian raids on Al-Zirbah village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, a child in the Russian bombardment on Shannan village, a citizen in the ground shelling on the vicinity of Murak town in the northern countryside of Hama, and a citizen in the Russian warplanes’ bombardment on Om Nayr village in Jabal Shashabo, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 19 members of the regime forces and 17 members of the factions due to shelling and clashes between the both parties in areas north of Hama.
And with regard to the aerial and ground shelling, the Russian and warplanes are continuing to fly over both Hama and Idlib resuming bombing and destruction, where the SOHR monitored that the regime’s warplanes carried out 2 raids on areas in Al-Hbit and Tremla towns in the southern and south-western countryside of Idlib, raising to 25, the number of raids carried out by the regime’s MiG aircraft since morning, they are: 5 raids on Al-Hbit, 7 raids on places in Kafr Sajna and its outskirts in the southern countryside of Idlib, 4 on Tremla, 3 on Horsh Qasabiyeh, 2 raids on each of Ma’aratahrama, Maarat Al-Nu’man and Al-Sayyad village, while it rose to 41, the number of strikes by Sukhoi warplanes they are: 7 on al-Hbit, 5 on al-Sermaniyyeh, 5 on Kansafra, 4 Kafr Nabudah, 3 raids on each of Kabbaneh, Abdeen, outskirts of Mra’eian, Kafr Zita, Basams and Kafr Oweid, and 2 raids on the abandoned battalion area east of Idlib.
While it rose to 92, the number of Russian raids that targeted Aleppo, Hama, and Idlib since midnight of yesterday until now, they are: 9 raids on Al-Hbit, 8 on Sarmaniyah, 5 on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, 5 on Kafr Sajna, 5 on al-Naqir, 4 on the vicinity of Khan Al-Sabel, 4 on Tremla, 4 on Abdita, and 4 on Kafrenbudeh, 3 raids on each for al-Zerba, al-Hmira south of Aleppo, al-Twinah, Karsaa and its vicinity, Shahranaz, al-Sahriyah and Om Al-Nayr, 2 on each of Tal Osman, Hersh al-Qassabiyyeh, Abdeen, Mughr al-Hamam, vicinity of Kafr Owaid, north of Khan Shaykhun, Qlidin, vicinity of Shannan, Ma’aratahrama, vicinity of al-Mozra, al-Ghassaniya and Tal al-Nar, while the warplanes opened their heavy machineguns on areas in the vicinity of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, hass, Kafr Nubl, Karsaa, Ma’aratahrama, Al-Hbit and Kansafra in the southern and south-western countryside of Idlib, and the outskirts of Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rise in number of barrel bombs which targeted the “de-escalation” area since this morning to 46 barrels, they are 18 barrels on al-Hbit town south of Idlib, 10 on Kafr Nabudah town north of Hama, 4 on Qassabiyyeh, 3 on al-Sakhr village, one barrel on al-Jabriya, and 2 barrels on each of Al-Ftirah, Tremla, Sheikh Mustafa, Hmirat and Ma’aratahrama.
This bombardment is coincided with heavy shelling by the regime forces by hundreds of shells on areas in both northern countryside of Hama and southern countryside of Idlib, raising to 920, the number of rocket and artillery shells fired since morning on places in Kafr Hamra town north of Aleppo, and other areas in Al-Lataminah town and Al-Sakhr village in the northern countryside of Hama, Kafr Nabudah in the north-western countryside of Hama, Kafr Sajna, Maarzita and Hassanah in the southern countryside of Idlib, Om Jalal and Tal Al-Khih in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib and other areas in the countryside of Latakia, Hama, Idlib and Aleppo, wile the factions targeted by rocket shells, positions of the regime forces in Buraydij, Al-Mughayr and Kernaz in the northern countryside of Hama.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 133, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 65 civilians including 8 children and 17 citizen women, where 25 of them including 5 female children and 7 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 16 including 6 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 9 including a woman, a child, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 11 people including 3 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, while at least 17 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, and 20 of the factions were killed in clashes against the regime forces, in addition to the killing of 31 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 14th day, to 287 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 6th of May 2019, they are 114 civilians including 22 children and 27 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 35 of the jihadi groups were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 22 of the factions were killed during clashes against the regime force and bombardment by warplanes, and 97 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 4th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 663 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 352 civilians including 92 children under the age of eighteen and 85 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 125 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 69 fighters of the “jihadis” and 186 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 893 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 433 civilians including 124 children and 97 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 191 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 83 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 268 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
In the wake of the escalation of the Russian and regime’s warplanes, the commander-in-chief of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham who has been displaced from Jisrayn in the eastern Ghouta, issued a statement about the situations in the Syrian North says “the criminal regime supported by the aircraft of the Russian occupation, is continuing to commit massacres and to target the liberated cities and towns, after being unable to withstand before our steadfast people, and we have been -due to the blessing of Allah- a legislated sword in the hands of our people in the face of the enemy of this persevering and patient people, there are our heroes at the outskirts of the liberated land of armies, elite forces and bands, raiding at night and storming in the morning the posts of the mercenaries of the Russian occupation leaving more than 200 of them dead and others wounded in 37 different operations, within a series of operations that pleased believing people, and among these operations there were several strikes by the fire-power support on the strongholds of the criminal regime and positions of its mercenaries in several strategic areas, also our heroes behind the enemy lines are still continuing to target the agents of the Russian occupation in the areas of its influence, and we have more, and we promise our enemy with what will not please him -with the help and power of Allah-, the Russians tried to wrap around Al-Sham’s people through the tricks of the reconciliations and settlement deals but our people in the liberated land with their jihadi sons unveiled the leaders of reconciliations and the agents of the occupiers and Allah ward our enemies off being disappointed and losers, we in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham refuse the political extortion through the military pressure to collect gains for the Russian occupation which the free Syrian people pay for, and any attempt by the forces of the Russian occupation to enter our virtuous and liberated land will be met with fire, and no occupier will reach our people or step on our land except when we are died, our patient and steadfast people, the next battle will be fateful, we will put all of potentials and our enemy will be shocked of being engaged in unexpected battle with uncalculated outcomes, and it -Allah willing- will be the first step in our enemy elimination from the persevering land of Al-Sham, and the lions of Homs, the heroes of Al-Ghouta and the lions of Daraa, are gathered here with the heroes of the north, the potentials increased and experiences developed and we will say no more, our enemy understands this message well, the jihadis have accomplished a new phase of preparation that is unfamiliar to our enemy, thousands of the jihadi young men who have graduated from the developed preparation camps, have got ready, and by them, we will inflame the ground under the occupiers and their followers, and our jihadis will have no break except in Damascus Allah willing, and many of hour people in the liberated land have got ready for confronting any incoming danger, so, everyone of our people in the liberated land who is able to take up arms, have to be prepared, and we -with the help of Allah- have got ready to swoop down on this rickety tyrant, so let’s be prepared for the days of conquest and victory for the persevering people of Al-Sham.”
