More casualties within the heaviest escalation ever raise to more than 220, the number of people who were killed within 9 days in “de-escalation” area

It rose to 6, the number of civilian people who were killed in the 9th day of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground shelling within the “de-escalation” area, they are a child and an elderly woman were killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes on Shannan village in Jabal al-Zawiyah, 2 citizens were killed in bombardment by regime’s Sukhoi warplanes on Khan Shaykhun city, a person was killed in ground shelling on Khan Shaykhun, and a civilian in shelling by the regime forces on places in Haraki village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 9 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them during clashes against the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Kafr Nabudah area north of Hama, in addition to 18 fighters of the factions and Tahrir al-Sham, they were killed in shelling and clash on the same area, including a fighter who blew himself up with a booby-trapped vehicle.

In the same context, the intensive aerial bombardments continues on several areas of the countryside of Idlib and Hama, by regime’s warplanes and helicopters, in addition to the return of bombardment by the Russian warplanes, after being absent from the skies for a few hours, where it rose to 29, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes since midnight of yesterday until now, they are 3 raids on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, 2 raids on each of Sfuhen, the vicinity of Hazarin, Maarzita, al-Rakaya, the vicinity of Kafrsajna, al-Lataminah, al-Sakhr, Abdeen, outskirts of Tal al-Sheikh, Abu Habab, the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, Tahtaya, and al-Hwash.

Also it rose to 109, the number of airstrikes carried out by regime’s warplanes (Sukhoi and Mig) on places in the countryside of Idlib and Hama since this morning, they are: 39 on Kafr Nabudah, 29 on al-Hbit, 13 on Kabana in Jabal al-Akrad, 12 on Khan Shaykhun, 4 on Shannan in Jabal al-Zawiyah, and 2 on each of al-Faqea’, Tremla, Abdeen, al-Naqir, Kansafra, and Om al-Sir, while it rose to 65, the number barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since the morning, they are 22 on Kafr Nabudah, 18 on al-Hbit town, 9 on Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad, 4 on the outskirts of al-Tamanah Town, and 12 on Khan Shaykhun.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 221, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 91 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 19 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 28 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 14 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 72 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 58 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 18th day, to 373 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of May 2019, they are 140 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 90 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 124 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 8th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 749 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 378 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 158 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 93 fighters of the “jihadis” and 213 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 979 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 459 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 225 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 108 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 292 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
