More than 200 airstrikes and artillery and rocket shells targeted areas of both Hama and Idlib countryside at the end of the 10th day of the most violent escalation ever in conjunction with holding the regime forces on to the positions they advanced into this morning

The Russian warplanes carried out more raids after the sunset of the 10th day of the fiercest escalation ever, where it rose to 25, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes since yesterday after the midnight and until this moment, they are: 10 raids on Al-Hbit, 5 on Al-Sharia, 2 on each of Qasabiyeh, Ankawi, Shannan, Madaya and Sarja, the regime forces also shelled by tens of rocket shells, areas in Al-Ankawi village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the road between Khan Shaykhun city and Al-Hbit town, raising to 150, the number of rocket and artillery shells fired by the regime forces more than 80 of which have targeted separated places in Khan Shaykhun city since dawn, while more than 40 shells and missiles have targeted areas in Al-Hbit town south of Idlib, also 30 shells targeted Al-Ankawi village and the road between Khan Shaykhun and Al-Hbit which resulted in the fall of wounded.

While helicopters dropped more than 8 barrel bombs on Al-Hbit town, also the regime’s warplanes have carried out more than 19 raids since the midnight of Wednesday – Thursday, they are: 9 raids on places in Khan Shaykhun, 7 raids on areas in Al-Hbit town, and a number of other raids targeted the villages and towns of Sarja, Madaya and Rakaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 7, the number of towns and villages that the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them have managed to enter and control since morning, after the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham had withdrawn from them, they are: Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Karakat, Tal Hawash, al-Twinah, al-Sharia, al-Sheikh Idris, and Bab al-Taqa, which are located in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, and Jabal Shashabo in the western countryside of Hama.

And between the 30th of April 2019 and today, Tuesday the 9th of May, the Syrian observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 96 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 29 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 16 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 72 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 58 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 19th day, to 378 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of May 2019, they are 145 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 90 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 124 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 8th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 754 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 383 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 158 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 93 fighters of the “jihadis” and 213 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 984 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 464 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 225 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 108 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 295 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
