Tahrir al-Sham carries out a counteroffensive to restore Kafr Nabudah in conjunction with intense airstrikes by regime’s warplanes and helicopters target the clash areas and south of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes since Friday morning in Kafr Nabudah area in the northern sector of Hama countryside, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, after a violent attack carried out by Tahrir al-Sham in order to regain control of Kafr Nabudah town, where the violent clashes are accompanied by extensive ground and air shelling in addition to exchange of targeting, amid information that Tahrir al-Sham advanced in the area, while regime’s warplanes carried out more raids on places in Khan Shaykhun city, al-Hbit town, and Qassabiyyeh village in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, in conjunction with dropping new barrel bombs on al-Hbit and its vicinity and outskirts, also the regime forces continue their intensive ground shelling on Khan Shaykhun, al-Hbit and Qassabiyyeh, and the Syrian Observatory documented more human casualties in clashes and shelling yesterday and this morning.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 237, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 96 civilians including 13 children and 26 citizen women, where 29 of them including 5 female children and 8 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 29 including 6 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 16 people including 4 women were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 80 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 61 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 18th day, to 389 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 10th of May 2019, they are 145 civilians including 26 children and 35 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 98 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 127 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 8th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 765 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 383 civilians including 96 children under the age of eighteen and 93 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 166 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 93 fighters of the “jihadis” and 216 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 995 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 464 civilians including 128 children and 105 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 233 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 108 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 298 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
