More than 550 airstrikes and rocket shells target the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce leaving 10 civilian casualties within the death toll of the 11th day of the fiercest escalation ever

The number of casualties is still continuing to increase due to the ongoing airstrikes and ground shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, where the Syrian observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 10 citizens in the 11th day of the fiercest aerial and ground escalation within the de-escalation area, they are: 3 citizens including a woman who were killed due to airstrikes by the regime’s warplanes on Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, a woman and a child in rocket shelling by the regime forces on Kafr Nubl town, 2 children and their mother in bombardment by the Russian warplanes on areas in Maarrat Al-Sain village, a citizen who was killed due to airstrikes by the regime’s warplanes on the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city and a citizen in bombardment by the Russian warplanes on Kafr Zita town, while 14 fighters of the factions and jihadi groups where killed in clashes and aerial and ground shelling by the regime forces, also 14 members of the regime forces where killed in clashes against the factions and the jihadi groups in the areas of Kafr Nabudah and Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

And with regard to the aerial bombardment, it rose to 60, the number of barrel bombs that have been dropped by helicopters since morning, they are: 16 barrels on Al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to 8 barrels which targeted the outskirts of an vicinity of Kafr Nabudah in the northern countryside of Hama, 8 barrels on Hish, 4 barrels on Tal A’as, 4 on Sheikh Mustafa, 4 on Hass, and 2 barrels on each of Madaya, Kafr Sajna, Ma’arat-harama, Tremla, Kafr Ein, Ihsim and Sheikh Dams, while the number of raids carried out by the regime’s warplanes on both Hama and Idlib countryside rose to 55, they are: 11 raids on the outskirts and vicinity of Kafr Nabudah, 12 raids on Al-Hbit, 8 on Qasabiyeh, 8 on Khan Shaykhun, 3 on each of Rakaya Sajna, Ma’arat-harama, Kafr Sajna and the vicinity of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, 2 raids on Kafr Zita and one raid on each of the outskirts of Al-Bara and Kafr Nubl, while it rose to 38, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes since yesterday after the midnight and until now, they are 8 raids on Al-Hbit, 6 on Qasabiyeh, 4 on Kafr Zita, and 2 on each of Sheikh Mustafa, Kabani, the vicinity of Sahyan, Kafr Sajna, Rakaya Sajna, the north of Kafr Nubl, the outskirts of Naqir, Maarzita and Maarrat Al-Sain.

And with reference to the ground shelling, the SOHR documented about 392 rocket and artillery shells fired by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on areas in both Hama and Idlib countryside, where Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib had the largest share of them, in addition to Al-Ankawi, Al-Hbit, Qasabiyeh and other places in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Abandoned Battalion, Tawil al-Haleeb, Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Shashabo.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 264, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 106 civilians including 15 children and 29 citizen women, and they are 33 including 6 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 33 including 7 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 18 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 86 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 72 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 20th day, to 416 persons in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 10th of May 2019, they are 155 civilians including 29 children and 38 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 104 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 138 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 10th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 792 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 393 civilians including 99 children under the age of eighteen and 96 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 172 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 110 fighters of the “jihadis” and 227 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1022 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 474 civilians including 131 children and 108 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 239 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 125 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 309 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
