After the aerial bombardment stopped for more than 12 hours…the regime’s helicopters renew their bombardment and target Jabal Al-Akrad by barrel bombs

Shelling renewed within the de-escalation area after it had stopped for more than 12 hours, where the Syrian Observatory for human Rights monitored that helicopters dropped barrel bombs today morning, Sunday, on Kabanah area within Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, in the same context, the regime forces shelled today morning, areas in Zayzun village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the SOHR published hours ago, that it monitored heavy rocket shelling by the regime forces since after the midnight of Saturday- Sunday and until now targeting Al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, also exchange of targeting by heavy and medium machineguns took place in Kafr Nabudah area in the northern countryside of Hama, between the regime forces against factions operating there, also violent clashes erupted between the both parties yesterday after the midnight in Al-Kirkat area, where the clashes lasted for an hour before they stopped again, while the de-escalation area have witnessed the longest calm in terms of the aerial bombardment since the start of the fiercest escalation on the 30th of April 2019, where the warplanes and helicopters have been absent from the skies of Idlib and Hama countryside since last night with the exception of the flight of helicopters today dawn over the southern countryside of Idlib and the coastline, without carrying out any targeting operations, in the same context, the SOHR documented the death of a citizen affected by the injury he had due to ground shelling by the regime forces on Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama before days.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 290, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin-Erdogan agreement, and they are: 109 civilians including 16 children and 29 citizen women, and they are 33 including 7 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 22 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 33 including 7 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 20 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and a civilian was killed in shelling by the factions of al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 95 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 86 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 21st day, to 443 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 11th of May 2019, they are 159 civilians including 29 children and 39 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 5 civilians casualties were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 113 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 152 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 11th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 819 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 397 civilians including 99 children under the age of eighteen and 97 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 29 people including 6 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 181 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 114 fighters of the “jihadis” and 241 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1049 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 478 civilians including 131 children and 109 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 32 people including 6 children and 5 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 248 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 129 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 323 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
