Counterattack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions on regime’s positions north Hama, and more barrel bombs and ground shelling target areas in the countryside Hama and Idlib raises the number of casualties on the 14th day of the most violent escalation to 3 civilian casualties

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an intensive missile and artillery shelling by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions operating in the northern countryside of Hama, targeting positions of the regime forces in areas of Kafr Nabudah, Tal Meleh, Tal Osman, Tal al-Jbin, Tallat al-Hamamiyyat, and other areas in the northern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions on positions of the regime forces in al-Hamamiyyat village, amid violent clashes between both parties and information about the advancement of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions in the area, while the helicopters continue to fly over the countryside of Idlib and Hama, in the light of the absence of regime’s warplanes and the Russian warplanes for a moment, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the helicopters dropping more barrel bombs on areas in Kafr Zita town and al-Sheikh Idris village in the northern countryside of Hama, raising the number of barrel bombs dropped by the helicopter on the countryside Idlib, Hama, and Latakia to 82 barrels, they are 47 on Kabana area at Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, 22 on al-Hbit in the southern countryside of Idlib, 4 on Karsa’a, 4 on Sheikh Edris 3 on Tal Aas, and 2 on each of the villages of Kafr Zita, Shahranaz, and Baraboo, also it rose to 21, the number of air raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on Monday targeting Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad and al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the Russian warplanes carried out 4 raids on Karsa’a village and its outskirts, and 2 raids on the outskirts of Kafr Nubl, and in the same context, it rose to 415, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces since the dawn of today targeting places in Kabana area in Jabal al-Akrad, al-Hbit town south of Idlib, and other places in Sahl al-Ghab, Jabal Shashabo, the southern and southwestern countryside of Idlib, as well as the northern countryside of Aleppo.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a man from al-Lataminah town in the fall of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kafr Ain village in the southern countryside of Idlib, and another man was killed in missile shelling on areas in the town earlier.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 354, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 121 civilians including 22 children and 30 citizen women, and they are 33 including 7 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 22 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 34 including 7 women, 5 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 23 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 8 citizens including 5 children and a woman were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 126 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 106 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 24th day, to 507 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 13th of May 2019, they are 172 civilians including 35 children and 40 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 12 civilians casualties including 6 children and a citizen woman were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 144 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 172 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 13th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 883 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 410 civilians including 105 children under the age of eighteen and 98 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 36 people including 12 children under the age of eighteen and 6 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 212 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 143 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 261 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1113 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 491 civilians including 137 children and 110 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 39 people including 12 children and 6 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 279 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 158 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 343 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
