Hours after the aerial bombardment stopped…warplanes and helicopters return to fly over the “de-escalation” zones and pour their wrath of barrel bombs and missiles and more than 800 air and rocket strikes claim the lives of 6 citizens in the 16th day of the fiercest escalation ever

The skies of the “de-escalation” areas witnessed absence of the warplanes and helicopters between the today’s sunset and before the midnight, in which they returned to resume their bombardment, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored bombardment by helicopters by barrel bombs on places in Kabana area in the north-eastern countryside of Latakia, as well as Ma’aret Hurmah, Al-Hbit, Al-Sayyad, Hassanah, Hish and Mughr Al-Hamam, in conjunction with the warplanes’ bombardment on areas in Al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the continued ground shelling by the regime forces on areas in it, where the regime forces targeted by rocket and artillery shells, areas in the towns and villages of Jazraya, Zammar, Al-Hbit and Tremla in the southern countryside of Idlib, accompanied by shelling by the factions operating in the northern countryside of Hama by Grad rockets on areas in Muhradah town which is inhabited mostly by Christian citizens raising to about 585, the number of rocket shells fired by the regime forces since yesterday after the midnight and until now, where they targeted separated places in Sahl Al-Ghab, Jabal Shashabo, Kabana area in Jabal Al-Akrad and other places in the countryside of Aleppo, Idlib and Hama.

And the SOHR has documented the death of at least 12 citizens who were killed on Wednesday as a result of the aerial and ground bombardments on the 16th day of the heaviest escalation on the “de-escalation” area, and they are: 3 people were killed in shelling by the regime forces on Kafr Dael village in the western sector of Aleppo countryside after midnight, a man was killed in bombardment by helicopters Om Nir village in Jabal Shashabo Mountain, a woman and a man were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on al-Jamiliyyeh neighborhood and around it in Aleppo city, which are controlled by the regime forces, and 4 including women and children died affected by wounds they had in shelling by the factions on Tuesday targeted Neirab camp southeast of Aleppo city, raising to 10 including 3 children and 2 women, the number of people killed in the massacre of Neirab camp.

while it rose to 124, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopter since Wednesday morning on the “de-escalation” area, they are 59 on Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, 7 on al-Hbit south of Idlib, 13 on al-Hwaiz in Sahl al-Ghab, and 5 on each of Om Nir, Qara Jern, al-Hwyja, Midan Ghazal, and Om al-Sir, 4 on Karsa’a, and 2 on Horta and Shulin, Hassanah, Al-Hbit, Mughr Al-Hamam, Ma’aret Hurmah and Hish.

Also it rose to 66, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since midnight of yesterday until now, they are 25 on Kabani area, 10 on Al-Huwayz in Sahl Al-Ghab, 11 on Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, 10 on al-Hwaiz in Sahl al-Ghab, 3 on IKARDA area, 4 on Al-Hbit, 4 on Kafrsajna, 2 on the outskirts of Saraqib, 2 on Sfuhen, and 2 on Hish in Maarrat al-Nu’man, also the warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” carried out 4 raids today, they are 2 on the outskirts of Hish and 2 on the outskirts of Tremla village.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 438, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 150 civilians including 25 children and 33 citizen women, and they are 33 including 7 female children and 9 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 25 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 44 including 8 women, 6 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 28 people including 5 women and a child were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 20 citizens including 9 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 158 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 130 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 26th day, to 591 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 15th of May 2019, they are 200 civilians including 39 children and 44 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 24 civilians casualties including 9 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 176 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 196 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019 and the 15th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 967 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 438 civilians including 109 children under the age of eighteen and 102 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 48 people including 15 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 244 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 153 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 285 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1197 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 519 civilians including 141 children and 114 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 51 people including 15 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 311 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 168 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 367 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
