About 45 people were killed in 4 hours of attack by the factions and the jihadi groups on the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with continuous airstrikes by warplanes and helicopters on the Russian – Turkish truce areas

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the expansion of clashes in the northwestern countryside of Hama, as a result of simultaneous attacks by factions and jihadi groups on areas in the same countryside, after a suicide car bomb attack in Kafr Nabudah town and attacks of the factions and the jihadis, where the latter launched an attack on areas of al-Moghir, Tal Hawash, al-Hmirat, Sheikh Idris, and al-Hwaiz in the northwestern countryside, where clashes are taking place against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them described as violent in the mentioned areas, in conjunction with violent exchange of shelling between both parties, but without any change to the map of control, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored an escalation in number of casualties in the ranks of both parties, where it rose to 26, the number of casualties of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them who were killed in the clashes, while 18 fighters of the Jihadis and the factions were killed, including a fighter who blew himself up in a booby-trapped vehicle in the countryside of Kafr Nabudah.

While ground and aerial bombardment continues on the “de-escalation” areas, where regime’s warplanes launched 2 raids on areas in Khan Shaykhun city, raising to 20, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes, they are: 8 raids on al-Hbit, 4 raids on Khan Shaykhun, and 2 raids on each of Arinbeh, Abdeen, and al-Sahriyya, while the helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on areas in Mughr al-Hamam village, raising to 6, the number of barrel bombs dropped by the helicopters, they are: 4 on al-Qassabiyyeh and 2 of Mughr al-Hamam, while the Russian warplanes carried out 6 raids, they are: 2 raids on each of al-Qassabiyyeh, Mughr al-Hamam, and al-Rashedin area.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 561, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 180 civilians including 38 children and 41 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 25 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 55 including 12 women, 11 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 35 people including 6 women and 2 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 194 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 187 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 31st day, to 714 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 21st of May 2019, they are 230 civilians including 51 children and 52 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilians casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 212 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 253 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 21st of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1090 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 468 civilians including 121 children under the age of eighteen and 110 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 300 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 163 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 342 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1320 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 549 civilians including 153 children and 122 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 347 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 178 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 424 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
