More than 800 air and ground strikes are the outcome of the 23rd day of the most violent escalation ever, in conjunction with an attack by drones by the jihadi factions on Hama Military Airbase

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the sound of violent explosions in the skies of the western countryside of Hama, they were caused by an attack by the factions by drones on where the air defenses intercepted a number of them amid the sound of violent explosions heard inside the airbase, and about the aerial bombardment, the helicopters dropped several barrel bombs on areas in Al-Hbit, Kafr Nabudah, Abdeen and Al-Sahriyeh in conjunction with bombardment by the regime’s warplanes by several raids on areas in Al-Hbit town and Abdeen village, while the Russian warplanes carried out raids on areas in Khan Shaykhun city and Kafr Nabudah town which the factions and the jihadi groups restored yesterday, raising to 67, the number barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since after midnight, and they are: 29 on the clash areas in Kafr Nabudah and Jabal Shashabo, 14 on al-Hbit, 4 on Kabani in Jabal al-Akrad, 3 on al-Ankawi, 3 on Hawijah, 2 on Abdeen, 2 on Midan Ghazal, 2 barrels on Baarabu and 2 barrels on Sfuhen, while it rose to 84, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on the Mountains of the coast, Hama, and Idlib countryside since after midnight, they are 30 on the clash areas in Kafr Nabudah, 7 on al-Hbit town, 5 on Khan Shaykhun and its vicinity, 4 on Saraqib, 4 on Abdeen, 3 on Ma’aret Hurmah and its outskirts, 3 on Kafrsajna, and 2 raids on each of Jisr al-Shughur city, Sfuhen, Kabana, al-Bara, Ishtabraq, al-Sheikh Mustafa, Morek, outskirts of Ain Laroz, Mughr al-Hamam, Ariha, the outskirts of Kafruma, Al-Amiqah, Shir Mghar, Al-Hawash and Tremla, while it rose to 8, the number of Russian raids on Kard Nabudah, Khan Shaykhun and Hass, and with regarding to the ground shelling, the areas of the northern and the north-western countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib, witnessed heavy shelling by the regime forces bringing the number of rocket and artillery shells to 630.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 630, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 204 civilians including 39 children and 41 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 26 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 77 including 12 women, 13 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 36 people including 6 women and 3 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 217 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 209 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 32nd day, to 783 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 22nd of May 2019, they are 254 civilians including 53 children and 52 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 235 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 275 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 22nd of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1159 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they  are 492 civilians including 123 children under the age of eighteen and 110 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 303 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 185 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 364 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1388 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 572 civilians including 154 children and 122 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 370 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 199 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 446 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
