With the support of intense aerial and ground shelling, the regime forces carry out new attacks attempting to restore Kafr Nabudah north of Hama and to advance in Kabani at Jabal al-Akrad

It rose to 3, the number of people who were killed today in the violent escalation on its 25th day in the “de-escalation” area, they are: a man and a child were killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes on areas in Tal Msibin village and its outskirts in Idlib countryside, and a child was killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on Kafr Nubl town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the Syrian Observatory monitored violent clashes on the outskirts and perimeter of Kafr Nabudah town in the northern sector of Hama; between the jihadi factions and groups against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, after a new attack by the latter attempting to advance and take control of the town, which they lost in favor of the factions within hours after they controlled it for a few days, and the clashes are accompanied by intense aerial and ground bombardment by tens of strikes, also the clashes renewed at varying frequency of violence between both parties in Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, and in the same context, it rose to 37, the number of raids carried out by the regime’s warplanes within the “de-escalation” area since this morning, they are: 6 on Kabani area, 4 on al-Hbit, and 3 on each of Tal Msibin and its outskirts, Kafr Nubl, Taftanaz Airbase, the vicinity of Bzabor in Jabal al-Zawiyah, Khan Shaykhun and its vicinity, and 2 raids on each of Hass, Sarja, Kafr Zita, Tal al-Sultan, Abdeen, and the international highway in the vicinity of Saraqib, also the helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on areas of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the ground shelling continues intensively on areas in Idlib and Hama countryside by the regime forces.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 690, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 24th of May 2019, and they are: 215 civilians including 34 children and 43 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 26 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 85 including 12 women, 17 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 39 people including 5 women and 3 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 257 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 218 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 35th day, to 843 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 24th of May 2019, they are 265 civilians including 57 children and 54 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 275 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 284 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 24th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1219 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they  are 503 civilians including 127 children under the age of eighteen and 112 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 343 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 203 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 373 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1488 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 581 civilians including 158 children and 124 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 410 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 217 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 455 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
