After being targeted by more than 675 air and ground strikes since today’s dawn…the regime forces regain the control of Kafr Nabudah town from the grip of the factions and the jihadists and bout 45 fighters in the ranks of both parties were killed in the shelling and clashes

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them managed to regain the control of Kafr Nabudah town which is located in the northern sector of Hama countryside, after being targeted by more than 675 air and ground strikes by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters, artillery pieces and rocket launchers, while the fierce clashes are still continuing between the both parties in the northern and eastern sides of the town in an attempt by the jihadi groups and the factions to advance again into Kafr Nabudah, while the SOHR documented gross losses in the ranks of the both parties, in few hours of violent clashes which are accompanied by hundreds of air and ground strikes in addition to targeting operations and the destruction of vehicles, where 28 members at least of the jihadi groups and other factions were killed, and 16 members at least of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them were also killed, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, in addition to confirmed information about more casualties in the ranks of the both parties.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 766, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 25th of May 2019, and they are: 226 civilians including 46 children and 44 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 28 including 8 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 92 including 12 women, 19 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 41 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 292 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 248 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 36th day, to 919 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 24th of May 2019, they are 276 civilians including 60 children and 55 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 310 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 314 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 25th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1295 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they  are 514 civilians including 130 children under the age of eighteen and 113 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 378 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 227 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 403 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1524 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 594 civilians including 161 children and 125 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 445 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 241 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 485 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
