The jihadi groups and the factions carry out a counter attack on Kafr Nabudah with a preliminary firepower by tens of ground strikes and the regime forces return to target the “de-escalation” zone by internationally prohibited incendiary substances

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a counter attack by the jihadi groups and the factions on Kafr Nabudah town in the northern countryside of Hama, hours after the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them imposed their control over it, where fierce clashes are taking place, accompanied by more than 200 missiles fired by the factions on the town, while the SOHR learned that the factions managed to advance into the eastern side of the town, in conjunction with airstrikes by the regime’s warplanes that target the battle fields, amid ground shelling by the regime forces, also the Syrian Observatory documented more human losses against the backdrop of the fierce clashes which are accompanied by aerial and rocket shelling by tens of strikes, where it rose to 36, the number of fighters of the factions and jihadi groups who were killed during the shelling and clashes in Kafr Nabudah area, while 29 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in the clashes and targeting operations in the same area, while the jihadi groups and the factions heavily targeted places in Al-Suqaylabiyah, Buraydij, Al-Mughayr, Tal Hawash and Muhradah which are under the control of the regime forces in Hama countryside.

In the same context, it rose to 35, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes today Sunday, which targeted Al-Hbit, Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, Mardam, Al-Ftirah, Al-Malaja, Kafr Mouss, Baaraboo and Armania, while it rose to 164, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters since after the midnight targeting both Idlib and Hama countryside, they are: 84 on Kafr Nabudah, 40 on al-Hbit, 8 on Al-Ftirah, 8 on al-Qassabiyyeh, 10 on Khan Shaykhun, and 7 on Sheikh Mustafa, 3 on Naqir, 2 on Mardam, south of Idlib, and 2 barrels on Maarrat Al-Sain, also it rose to 189, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since today’s dawn, they are: 69 on Kafr Nabudah, 33 on Al-Hbit, 19 on Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, 16 on Kabana, 10 on Abdeen, 7 on each of Naqir and Hish, 5 on Sfuhen, and 3 raids on each of Kafr Zita, Kafr Sajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytunah, Maarrat Al-Nu’man and Fulayfel.

Also it rose to 1170, the number of shells and missiles which targeted separated areas in both northern and north-western countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib, in addition to Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, where Kafr Nabudah has been targeted by more than 550 shells and missiles since today’s dawn, and the SOHR learned that the regime forces targeted Al-Zakah town by incendiary substances which resulted in setting on fire in the area as a part of the regime forces’ deliberate burning to agricultural lands through targeting them by internationally prohibited incendiary substances.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 791, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, the 25th of May 2019, and they are: 236 civilians including 47 children and 45 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 29 including 8 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 99 including 13 women, 20 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 42 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 300 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 255 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 36th day, to 944 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 26th of May 2019, they are 286 civilians including 61 children and 56 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 318 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 321 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 25th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1310 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 521 civilians including 131 children under the age of eighteen and 114 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 386 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 230 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 410 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1549 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 604 civilians including 162 children and 126 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 453 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 244 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 492 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
