The Russian and regime’s warplanes continue to heavily target Putin – Erdogan truce area leaving more casualties
The Syrian Observatory documented the death of more people today, Tuesday, in the aerial bombardment on the 29th day of the heaviest escalation in the “de-escalation” area, where it rose to 10, the number of civilians who were killed by regime’s warplanes and helicopters, and they are: 3 children at least were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Jabal al-Zawiyah, 3 people including at least 2 children, they were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Ihsim town in Jabal al-Zawiyah, a woman and a child were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Maar Tamater village in Idlib countryside, and a man was killed in bombardment by regime’s warplane on al-Bawabiyyah village south of Aleppo, and a woman was killed in the fall of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Sfuhen village at Jabal al-Zawiyah, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
In the same context, the Russian warplanes continue to carry out more airstrikes within the “de-escalation” area, where they carried out more raids on Shahranaz at Jabal Shashabo and al-Hamidiyeh village south of Maarrat al-Nu’man, also regime’s warplanes carried out heavy raids on al-Naqir, Tremla, Sheikh Mustafa, Karsa’a, Flifel, and Kafr Owaid, while it rose to 510, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on the countryside of Hama, Idlib, Aleppo, and Latakia.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 844, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 28th of May 2019, and they are: 265 civilians including 59 children and 56 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 32 including 8 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 123 including 24 women, 29 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 45 people including 5 women and 4 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 310 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 269 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 39th day, to 995 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 28 the of May 2019, they are 315 civilians including 73 children and 67 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilian casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 328 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 335 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 28th of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1373 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 553 civilians including 143 children under the age of eighteen and 123 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 396 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 238 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 424 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1602 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 633 civilians including 173 children and 135 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 463 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 253 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 506 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
