After controlling more than 21 areas within the “de-escalation” area, the regime forces bring more military reinforcements to take over more areas, in conjunction with brining similar reinforcements by the jihadi groups and factions to the area
Parties of the fight in “Putin – Erdogan” area continue their military and logistic preparations, by bringing more reinforcements to the hot fronts in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib, and Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, in the light of the heaviest escalation within the area, which began on the 30th of April 2019, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the Turkestani Islamic Party brought logistic and military reinforcements, represented by heavy machinery and weapons to areas of Jabal Shashabo and Sahl al-Ghab, also the National Liberation Front factions continue to strengthen and fortify the fronts of Sahl al-Ghab to impede the advancement of the regime forces there, who -in turn- are seeking to take over more areas in the countryside of Hama and Idlib by bringing new heavy machinery, soldiers, and weapons to their areas there, after they controlled more than 20 areas in Hama and Idlib countryside with the support of the Russian guarantor, they are al-Qassabiyyeh, Hmirat, al-Hardana, al-Qaroutiyyah, Qiratah, Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Karakat, al-Twyna, Kafr Nabudah, al-Bana, Tal Osman, al-Mestriha, al-Sharia, Bab al-Taqa, al-Jabriya, Tal Hawash, al-Tawba, al-Sheikh Idris, al-Muhajreen, al-Hamraa, al-Hwaiz.
And in mountains of the coast, the jihadi factions fortified Kabani area and supported the surrounding hills, in the light of the continued attempts by the regime forces to advance in this area, also the regime forces -after all their unsuccessful attempts in the last 48 hours- brought military reinforcements and more soldiers to the contact areas in Tallat al-Zwiqat, which is controlled by the Hurras al-Dien, and the rest of the hills which are controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the Turkestani Islamic party, in addition to reinforcing the rear lines with heavy weapons and launchers of mortar shells, also the National Front brought more fighters to their sites in al-Teffahiyyeh, al-Kheder, and Tallat al-Hadadah, the Syrian Observatory also monitored the factions preparing thousands of rubber tires on the sides of the roads to burn them; benefiting from their heavy black smoke in obstructing vision of the warplanes which use machineguns for targeting columns and vehicles of the factions coming to the contact lines vis international and sub-roads.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published late May 2019 that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a meeting is underway between the commanders of the major factions and those operating in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Latakia, they are Abu Mohammad al-Julani, Jameel Al-Saleh, Hassan Sofan, Ali Jaber, Abu Issa Al-Sheikh, Sheikh Anas Ayrout, and other commanders of Al-Sham Corps, Jaysh Al-Ahrar and other factions, in addition to allowing military reinforcements to enter from areas of the “Olive Branch” operations room to the fronts of Hama countryside, it worth mentioning that some groups were sent of the al-Jaysh al-Watani (the National Army) Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah, al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah, al-Majd Legion, in addition to the fighters who came individually; to defend their areas of origin.
