With intense ground shelling by about 350 shells and missiles, Jihadi groups and factions start a violent attack against sites of the regime forces in northern countryside of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent attack carried out by the jihadi groups and other factions against sites of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the al-Jabin, Tal Meleh, and Hamamiyyat in the northern countryside of Hama, where violent clashes are taking place between both parties, amid intensive ground shelling by more than 340 shells and missiles, targeting Kafr Nabudah, Qassabiyyeh, Tal Hawash, Hamamiyyat, al-Jabin, Tal Meleh, al-Moghir, and Muhradah which is controlled by the regime forces in the countryside of Hama and Idlib, in conjunction with burning tens of rubber tires to make use of its thick smoke, in order to confuse the warplanes which are flying over the area, while regime’s warplanes carried out new raids on Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama, also it rose to 22, the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes on Khan Shaykhun in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Hasraya, al-Zakat, and al-Lataminah and its outskirts at the northern countryside of Hama, and Deir Senbol in Jabal Shashabo, also it rose to 45 at least, the number barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on al-Arba’in village in the northern countryside of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, Khan Shaykhun, the vicinity of Kafrsajna, Kafr Ain, Tal Aas, al-Hbit, and al-Sheikh Mustafa in the southern countryside of Idlib, also it rose to 460, the number of shells launched by the regime forces on Thursday targeting Sheikh Mustafa, Kafrsajna, al-Hbit, Khan Shaykhun, Abdeen, Om al-Sir, and Tremla in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and Latmin, al-Sayyad, Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah and al-Zakat in the northern countryside of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1122, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 6th of June 2019, and they are: 352 civilians including 84 children and 76 citizen women, and they are 48 including 15 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 192 including 41 women, 50 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 54 people including 8 women and 5 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 22 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 446 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 324 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 47th day, to 1272 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 5th of June 2019, they are 402 civilians including 98 children and 84 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 26 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 461 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 390 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 6th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1651 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 640 civilians including 168 children under the age of eighteen and 140 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 50 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 532 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 338 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 479 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1880 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 720 civilians including 198 children and 152 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 599 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 357 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 561 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
