With a heavy air and ground support, the regime forces carry out a counterattack and desperately fight with the Russians to restore the areas controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions and the Jihadi groups north of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a counterattack carried out by the regime forces dawn on Friday, 7th of June 2019, on the areas which they lost on Thursday to the factions and Jihadis in the northern countryside of Hama, they carry it out with a heavy air support with tens of raids by regime’s warplanes, in addition to ground shelling by tens of shells and missiles, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces managed to regain control of Kafr Hood, while violent clashes are  taking place now in Tal Hood in an attempt by the regime forces to restore it completely, and in the same context, the Russian warplanes carried out Friday morning raids on places in al-Arba’in, Kafr Zita, al-Zakat, and Morek in the northern countryside of Hama, they also carried out several raids after midnight of yesterday on places in al-Lataminah town and the villages of Zakat, al-Arba’in, Hasraya and Latmin in the same countryside, also regime’s warplanes carried out several raids this morning and after midnight, where they carried out more than 12 raids on Monday morning, targeting Khan Shaykhun, al-Zakat, Hasraya, and al-Arba’in, while 10 air raids carried out after midnight of yesterday targeted al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita north of Hama, and Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1159, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 6th of June 2019, and they are: 354 civilians including 86 children and 76 citizen women, and they are 48 including 15 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 193 including 40 women, 51 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 55 people including 8 women and 6 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 22 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 460 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 345 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 47th day, to 1309 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 5th of June 2019, they are 404 civilians including 100 children and 84 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 26 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 470 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 416 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 6th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1688 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 642 civilians including 170 children under the age of eighteen and 140 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 50 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 548 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 352 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 500 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1917 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 722 civilians including 200 children and 152 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 616 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 371 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 582 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
