Attempting to put pressure and make an exchange for a TV channel reporter and NDF members, Regime’s air intelligence arrests 5 employees of the self-administration in al-Qameshly city northeast Syria

Al-Hasaka Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Air Force intelligence arrested 5 self-management employees in al-Qameshly city in al-Hasakah countryside, and this arrest comes as move to put pressure on the regime forces to make an exchange that leads to the release of a correspondent of the Syrian Ikhbariyyeh news channel loyal to Bashar al-Assad’s regime, along with members of the NDF militia, who were arrested by the self-administration on the 4th of this month on charges of being involved in the fires that took place in the area back then, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 5th of June 2019 that a security branch of the self-administration in al-Qameshly city continues to arrest the correspondent of the Syrian news channel loyal to the regime of Bashar al-Assad, on charges of “preparing reports in the interest of the regime”, where the arrest took place yesterday, Tuesday the 4th of May 2019 in Qameshly city north of al-Hasaka province, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 24th of May 2019 that under the large activity of cells of the “Islamic State” Organization within the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas east Euphrates area, the activity which consists of assassinations, shooting, targeting, IED and mine explosions, as well as suicide bombings and explosive belts, the organization is expanding its activity to another side away from the killings, where it targets the livelihood and property of citizens, by setting fires in farmland owned by civilians or linked to Syria Democratic Forces, where the Syrian Observatory monitored several operations of this context during the last few days, where cells of the “Islamic State” Organization burned hundreds of hectares of wheat in several agricultural lands in Markadah town and Majid village at al-Hasakah province, in addition to setting fire to more than 30000 hectares of agricultural land starting from al-Raqqah countryside until the northeastern countryside of Aleppo at the east Euphrates area, where the Syrian Observatory published a few days ago that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored huge fires within the area between the countryside of al-Raqqah and the northeastern countryside of Aleppo in the east Euphrates area, where about 30000 hectares of land in that area were burned, also the fires took long hours to be extinguished despite the arrival of team of the Raqqah Fire department, However, most of them do not know how to extinguish fires delayed extinguishing the fires, according to a video the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained.
