In conjunction with the flight of Russian warplanes…the regime forces’ shells interrupt the Russian – Turkish truce announced in Idlib and target areas in its countryside as well as Hama countryside

About 2 hours after the Russian announcement about a truce in Idlib province went into effect, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented rocket shelling on Putin – Erdogan area, where it monitored that the regime forces fired shells on areas in Kafr Zita city in the northern countryside of Hama, as well as other areas in the towns of Abdeen and Al-Naqir in the southern countryside of Idlib, without information about casualties so far, and the SOHR published hours ago, that in conjunction with the Russian announcement about a truce in Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored new airstrikes by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters on Putin – Erdogan area, where the SOHR monitored raids by the regime’s warplanes on areas in Ariha and Al-Mastumah west of Idlib as well as Khan Shaykhun and Kafr Sajna, the helicopters also dropped barrel bombs on Al-Hbit, the vicinity of Kafr Nubl, Khan Shaykhun and Ihsim in the southern countryside of Idlib, raising to 45, the number of airstrikes by the regime’s warplanes which targeted areas in the vicinity of Al-Mastumah, Ariha, Kafr Zita, Al-Lataminah, Khan Shaykhun, Al-Zakah, Hasraya and Al-Arba’in in the northern and north-western countryside of Hama in addition to the southern and western countryside of Idlib, also the warplanes opened fire of their machineguns on Kafr Sajna village in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the helicopters dropped more than 23 barrel bombs on the clash areas in Hama and Idlib, in addition to dropping more than 57 barrels on Al-Hbit town, Tremla village, Khan Shaykhun, the vicinity of Kafr Nubl, Ma’aret Hurmah and Sfuhen south of Idlib, and Al-Jabin, Hasraya, Al-Sayyad, Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita in the north of Hama, while the Russian warplanes carried out 4 raids at least on Kafr Zita and one raid on Jabin, also the regime forces targeted the clash areas in Hama and Idlib countryside by more than 300 shells and missiles, in addition to 190 shells and missiles which targeted Murak, Kafr Zita, Al-Sayyad and Jabal Shashabo in the northern countryside of Hama, and Al-Taman’aa, Sukayk, Ma’aret Hurmah, Khan Shaykhun, Ihsim, Hass and Kafr Nubl within the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and in conjunction with the flight of Russian warplanes, the regime’s artillery targeted Tuffahiyeh area and other areas in Jabal Al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia by more than 30 shells.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1515, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 12th of June 2019, and they are: 399 civilians including 96 children and 84 citizen women, and they are 52 including 16 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 41 including 9 women and 5 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 223 including 46 women, 56 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 59 people including 9 women and 9 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 23 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 609 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 507 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 12th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2044 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 687 civilians including 180 children under the age of eighteen and 148 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 51 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 695 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 453 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 662 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2273 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 767 civilians including 210 children and 160 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 53 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 762 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 468 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 744 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
