Syria launches missiles on Kabani as conflict in Latakia intensifies

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has launched missiles on the key town of Kabani in Latakia Governorate as government strengthens its push to retake the strategic towns.

Al-Masdar news reported that Syrian forces are using Golan-1000 launcher to target the defences of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party at the southern axis of Kabani.

The fighting to retake towns has been raging since April. A total of 126 personnel from government-backed forces and 102 rebels have lost their lives in the three towns since the latest offensive was launched three days ago, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
