The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

In less than 40 days, warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” and the regime commit 16 massacres within the “de-escalation” area killing and injuring about 610 civilians

Since the beginning of the heaviest escalation on the 30th of April 2019, until the 20th of Jun 2019; “Putin – Erdogan” area witnessed 16 massacres carried out by warplanes of the Syrian regime and Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes as well against the civilians, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 125 civilians including 33 children under the age of eighteen and 21 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in massacres carried out by the warplanes and helicopters, where regime’s warplanes had the largest share of the massacres with 14 massacres that killed 110 citizens including 28 children under the age of eighteen and 15 women over the age of eighteen, and regime’s helicopters carried out one massacre in which 5 citizens including a child and a citizen woman were killed, also the Russian guarantor’s warplanes committed one massacre and killed 10 citizens including 4 children under the age of eighteen and 5 citizen women over the age of eighteen, and in these massacres more than 483 people wounded and many of them were critically wounded, they also caused permanent disabilities to some of them.

The massacres that the Syrian Observatory was able to document were distributed as follows:

Regime’s Warplanes:

– A massacre at Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib on the 14th of May killed 8 citizens including a child.

– A massacre at Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib on the 22nd of May killed 12 citizens including a child.

– A massacre in Saraqib town east of Idlib on the 22nd of May killed 5 citizens.

– A massacre at Ariha city south of Idlib on the 27th of May killed 5 citizens including 4 children.

– A massacre in Hazarin town south of Idlib on the 27th of May killed 6 citizens including one child and 2 women.

– A massacre in Kafr Halab town west of Aleppo on the 28th of May killed 11 citizens including 3 children under the age of eighteen and 2 women over the age of eighteen.

– A massacre in Sarjah town south of Idlib on the 29th of May killed 7 citizens including 5 women over the age of eighteen.

– A massacre at Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib on the 30th of May killed 5 citizens, they are 4 children under the age of eighteen and a woman over the age of eighteen.

– A massacre in Kafr Aweed town south of Idlib on the 5th of June killed 6 citizens including 2 children and a woman.

– A massacre in Jabbala village south of Idlib on the 10th of June killed 13 citizens including a child and a woman.

– A massacre in al-Bara town south of Idlib on the 15th of June killed 5 citizens including 3 children under the age of eighteen and a woman.

– A massacre in Benin village south of Idlib on the 19th of June killed 12 citizens including 3 children under the age of eighteen.

– A massacre in al-Mastouma town south of Idlib on the 20th of June killed 9 citizens of one family including 4 children under the age of eighteen, and a woman over the age of eighteen.

– A massacre in Hish town south of Idlib on the 20th of June killed 6 citizens including a child and a woman.

The Russian Warplanes:

– A massacre in Kafr Nubl town south of Idlib on the 19th of May killed 10 citizens including 4 children under the age of eighteen and 5 women over the age of eighteen.

The Helicopters:

-A massacre in Kafr Ain village south of Idlib on the 11th of June killed 5 citizens including a child and a woman.
