Sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that this video was shot in the middle of June 2018, during the SDF’s control over al-Dshishiyah area in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, which used to be a major stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization, and the sources confirmed that these fires have been set by ISIS in an attempt at that time to disrupt the International Coalition warplanes, and we in the SOHR call upon the people of the area who have any other information about this video, to send the information that proves the claims about the SDF’s involvement in triggering the blazes that have been devouring the area of east Euphrates for more than a month, we also call upon the parties that oppose the SDF which propagandized that this video is new and that the SDF are the party that is setting the agricultural lands on fire, to release information about the geographic area in which they claim that the blazes took place, it is noteworthy that the SOHR published on the 17th of June 2018, that the SDF and with the support of the Coalition’s forces, managed to impose their control over al-Dshishiyah which was the center of ISIS last stronghold south of Al-Hasakah
