Widespread public discontent in Malkiyyeh city after an armed attack by family of the joint president of self-Administration on the People’s Court to release a prisoner from the same family accused of “embezzling tens of millions”

Al-Hasaka Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that in the past hours; an armed group stormed the People’s Court in al-Malkiyyeh city (Dirik) in the countryside of al-Hasaka province, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: about 8 gunmen of the family of the former co-president of the self-administration attacked the People’s Court in al-Malkiyyeh; in order to release a prisoner of the same family who had been arrested by the Internal Security Forces on charges of embezzling tens of millions of the self-administered money, and they were able to release the prisoner without being stopped by Asayish or others, before the internal security forces returned and arrested him again, which provoked a great public discontent, demanding that all those involved to be arrested and brought to justice, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 23rd of June 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of a booby-trapped motorcycle in Al-Hilaliyah neighborhood at the western entrance of Al-Qamishli city, which slightly injured a citizen woman, and the SOHR published on the 17th of June 2019, that a violent explosion shook al-Qameshly city at about 1.30 p.m. Saturday afternoon local time, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: a suicide bomber driving a booby-trapped car tried to enter the General Center of Asayish near the Sony Roundabout in al-Qameshly city, but he was not able to detonate it inside the Center, and the sources added that 2 suspects who are believed to be behind the bombing had fled, and the explosion caused 7 injuries among civilians including 3 women and a child, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 23rd of May 2019 that the Syrian Observatory monitored an explosion in Tal Tamr  area in al-Hasaka countryside, on Thursday, the 23rd of May 2019, it was caused by a suicide bomber who detonated himself in a booby-trapped bicycle in the area, where the bomber was killed in the explosion and it also caused material damage in the place of the explosion, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 20th of May 2019 that a violent explosion was heard south of Al-Hasakah city before sunset, it turned out that it was caused by the detonation of a booby-trapped vehicle with a suicidal bomber in it near a column of the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; a booby-trapped Pickup vehicle driven by a suicidal bomber of the “Islamic State” organization attacked a column of the International Coalition and the SDF while returning from a regular meeting in Al-Omar Oilfield which is taken by the US forces as their base, and while returning and near Al-Shaddadi city, the vehicle was detonated by the suicidal bomber, and the bombing did not cause casualties and it only caused material damage.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 9th of April 2019, that a violent explosion shook al-Shaddadi city in the southern sector of al-Hasakah countryside on Tuesday, the 9th of April 2019, where a suicide bomber detonated himself in a Kia car near Shaddadi city when a column of the US Forces passed through the area, but no information about casualties, and the damage was limited to material damage and damaging a vehicle of the column, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the car impersonated a military car of the Syria Democratic Forces and had the flag of SDF, and this explosion comes after a similar explosion at the end of the first month of 2019, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 21st of January 2019 that an explosion took place in the southern countryside of al-Hasakah as a convoy of US forces accompanied by a local escort of the Syria Democratic Forces was passing through the area, which caused casualties, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard in the southern sector of al-Hasaka countryside, caused by a bombing targeted a convoy on the road of al-Hasakah – al-Raqqah near al-Shaddadi area, where reliable sources confirmed that the bombing was caused by a suicide bomber who detonated himself in a booby-trapped vehicle he was driving, he targeted a column of the US Forces accompanied by members of the Syria Democratic Forces to protect them during their roam in the area, where the Syrian Observatory learned that at least 5 members of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed and two of the US Forces were wounded, and this is the second bombing that targets the US Forces in the provinces of Aleppo and al-Hasakah within 5 days.

The Syrian Observatory documented earlier that an explosion took place in Manbij city on the 16th of January 2019, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the investigations are still underway by the FBI team in Manbij city in addition to the intelligence services in the city, in the case of the bombing that took place in al-Omaraa Restaurant in Manbij city and targeted an International Coalition patrol, which killed 4 members of the patrol and 5 escorts of the local fighters, and 10 residents of Manbij city, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the investigations are taking place in the bombing that was claimed in the media by the “Islamic State” organization, which said that the bomber is a suicide bomber named Abu Yassin al-Shami, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the search is underway to find a person appeared in the video of the surveillance cameras in the street where the bombing took place, where a man was identified and he was fled from the place of detonation less than a minute before the explosion, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the man’s family lives in the areas controlled by “Euphrates Shield” Operation Force, and it is not known whether he helped in the bombing by transporting the bomber or transporting the explosives to the detonation site, also the search is underway but it is not known if he have fled from areas controlled by Manbij Military Council or if he is still hiding there.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from private sources who confirmed that investigations are underway at a high level in the case of the Manbij city bombing, which took place at noon on Wednesday the 16th of January 2018, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: a team from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI arrived in Manbij city during the past hours, and began to investigate the bombing of the al-Omaraa restaurant in the middle of the city, which is controlled by forces of Manbij Military Council and the International Coalition forces, in which the suicide bomber blew himself up in the restaurant and killed 4 members of the International Coalition  two of them died in the Syrian territory, and 5 of their escorts of the local fighters and 10 civilians from Manbij were also killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that cautious calm has returned to Manbij city in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, which is controlled by forces of Manbij military Council and where the US Forces  and the International Coalition are preset, where the calm came in the wake of the bombing that hit the city on Wednesday afternoon, the 16th of January 2019, where it hit al-Omaraa restaurant in the middle of the city and targeted an International Coalition patrol, which killed 4 members of the patrol and 5 of their escorts of fighters of the local forces, in addition to the death of 10 civilian citizens who were present in the same place, the explosion also caused several injuries, and the city witnessed after the bombing a state of security alert and tension and alert in anticipation of other similar attacks that may cause more casualties, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the intelligence of the Manbij Military Council arrested 7 people who formed a secret cell to carry out bombings and assassinations in Manbij area, intersected sources confirmed that members of the cell confessed to “working under the direction of the factions operating in Euphrates Shield Operation and the Turkish intelligence,” they also seized weapons and military equipment in one of the houses in which they were located, the sources also confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the seven people cell were arrested earlier.
