Clashes in Syria Leave 45 Fighters Dead

Clashes between the pro-government forces and other insurgent-led groups in Syria resulted in the killing of at least 45 fighters on Tuesday, a monitoring group confirmed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham carried out an attack on the positions of the Syrian regime at dawnbin northwestern, killing 14 pro-government militiamen.

“Regime forces foiled the attack,” head of the observatory group, Rami Abdul Rahman, told AFP, as cited by Alarabia.

However, no further details were specified where and how the other combatants were killed.
