In the shadow of absence of the regime and Russian warplanes from the skies of the “de-escalation” zone…a landmine of the war’s remnants claims the lives of 2 children and injures a woman north of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today evening, the death of 2 children and the injury of a citizen woman due to the explosion of a landmine of the war’s remnants in Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Idlib, while the SOHR monitored the absence of the regime and the Russian guarantor’s warplanes from the skies of the “de-escalation” zone in the recent hours, in the shadow of the continued rocket shelling by the regime forces on the northern countryside of Hama, where it rose to 380, the number of rocket and artillery shells launched by the regime forces through which they targeted places in the southern and western countryside of Aleppo, the northern and north-western countryside of Hama, in addition to the southern countryside of Idlib, also it rose to 64 the number the raids carried out by regime’s warplanes since this morning on Khan Shaykhun and its outskirts, the vicinity of Ameriyah, Kafrsajna, Madaya, Al-Rakaya, Ma’aret Hurmah, outskirts of Bsonqul, Latmin, Kafr Zita, al-Arba’in, al-Lataminah, Morek, Tal Meleh, and al-Jabin in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, Al-Bawabiyyeh, IKARDA area and Kafr Halab in the southern and south-western countryside of Aleppo, while it rose to 32, the number of raids carried out by Russian warplanes since the morning on Khan Shaykhun, the vicinity of Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib, Al-Zakah, Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, Tal Meleh, and Jabin in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, and it rose to 20, the number of barrel bombs dropped today by helicopters which targeted Al-Zakah, Al-Jabin, Hasraya and Tal Melh north and north-west of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2483, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 13th of July 2019, and they are: 646 civilians including 168 children and 131 citizen women, and they are 78 including 24 children and 21 women, and 2 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 57 including 14 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 380 including 100 children, 70 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 85 people including 15 women and 11 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 45 citizens including 19 children and 10 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Kernaz, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 956 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling including 606 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 881 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 14th  of July 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3012 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 933 civilians including 250 children under the age of eighteen and 195 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 73 people including 25 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1042 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 651 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1037 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3241 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1014 civilians including 278 children and 209 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 75 people including 25 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1098 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 665 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1118 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
