With support of the International Coalition, SDF continue its security operation in the east Euphrates area and arrest several people in Hasakah countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition continue their security operations against cells of the “Islamic State” organization within the east Euphrates area, in light of the great activity of the Organization’s cells in the area, where a force of the Syria Democratic Forces supported by members of the Coalition and the flight of International Coalition helicopters; raided villages of al-Attala, al-Tarqiyyeh, al-Gharb, Tal Ahmar, al-Jellu, Ajajah, and other villages located on al-Hasakah – Deir Ezzor road, where several people were arrested and taken to a destination still unknown, and no information about the identity of the people yet, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 22nd of July 2019 that security operations continue against cells of the “Islamic State” organization within the east Euphrates area, where the Syrian Observatory learned that special units of the Syria Democratic Forces raided during the past hours Jub al-Ashra of Manbij city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and managed to arrest a commander of the “Islamic State” Organization and his brother who used to be within the infiltration groups of the “Islamic State” Organization and worked in securing weapons to the Organization, while the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the anti-terrorism forces of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” arrested a person in al-Raqqah city, he is the “Fuel Official” of the “Islamic State” Organization when it used to control the city, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 17th of July 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a force of the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces raided al-Busayrah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in order to arrest a cell of the “Islamic State” Organization in the village, after which clashes took place for long hours since midnight until the first morning hours where warplanes of the International Coalition intervened and targeted the center of the cell which refused to surrender, and he Syrian Observatory documented the killing of one of the group’s most prominent leaders in the area during the operation, and information about other casualties of the Syria Democratic Forces and the cell, and in the same context during the night hours as well, a cell belongs to the “Islamic State” Organization attacked al-Omar oilfield, in which there are leaders of the Coalition and an airport used by the Coalition, where clashes took place between guards of the airport and the cell which caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, where 4 at least of the SDF were killed and members of the Coalition forces were injured, and this attack is considered one of the most violent and largest attacks carried out by the Organization against al-Omar oilfield and the airport inside it.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to 327 fighters, civilians, oil workers, and officials in service parties, the number of people killed in areas within the 4 provinces of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in the northeast of Aleppo Province, which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, where the Syrian Observatory monitored these cells assassinating 90 civilians including 4 women and 5 children in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakah countryside, al-Raqqah city and countryside, and Manbij area, in addition to the assassination of 232 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces including local leaders in the same areas, and 4 members of International Coalition were killed, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human monitored the injury of tens of people due to these assassinations.
