Syria: reported 300 U.S. vehicles sent to north-east, NGO – General news – ANSAMed.it

Some 300 US military and civilian vehicles crossed into north-eastern Syria from Iraqi Kurdistan over the last few hours to provide support to US troops and Kurdish-Syrian forces backed by Washington, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The UK-based monitoring group showed videos and photos provided by its sources on the ground, in the region of Qamishli at the border between Turkey and Iraq. A reported 270 vehicles have crossed into the area in the last 24 hours. The US military effort is part of afforts by the international Coalition against ISIS.

According to SOHR, from February until today, since ISIS was formally militarily defeated in the plane of Baghouz, between the Euphrates and the Iraqi border, the US has sent 1,750 civilian and military vehicles to eastern Syria.
