At the end of the 88th day of the escalation campaign…more than 650 air and ground strikes carried out by the regime and the Russians on “Putin – Erdogan” area
At the end of the 88th day of the fiercest escalation campaign, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored absence of the regime and Russian warplanes from the airspace of the “de-escalation” zone, while th regime forces are still continuing their rocket shelling targeting areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, the northern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside Aleppo, leaving 3 fighters of the Islamic factions dead in the vicinity of Al-Lataminah in the north of Hama, raising to 6, the number of people who were killed today within “Putin – Erdogan” area, they are 2 we killed in airstrikes by regime’s warplanes which targeted al-Bawabiyyah village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, a citizen was killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Saraqib town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and 3 fighters of the Islamic factions who were killed in rocket shelling that targeted the vicinity of Al-Lataminah city in the northern countryside of Hama, also the evening’s rocket shells resulted in the injury of fighters in Al-Tuffahiyah area in Latakia countryside, while several citizens were injured as a result of rocket shelling which targeted Maar Hatat village south of Idlib, and in the same context, the SOHR documented 72 raids carried out by warplanes of the Syrian regime which targeted places in Maarrat al-Nu’man and its outskirts, the vicinity of Maarshourin, Al-Taman’aa, Hish and the outskirts of Tell Mannas in the south of Idlib, and Saraqib town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, ICARDA, al-Nakhil, Kesaybiyyeh, Al-Barqum and Al-Bawabiyyah in the southern countryside of Aleppo, in addition to Morek, Kafr Zita, al-Zakat, al-Lataminah, Latmin, al-Jabin, Al-Arba’in, Tal Meleh, Hasraya, Al-Sayyad and Lahaya north and northwest of Hama, while the Russian warplanes carried out about 32 raids by which they targeted areas in the villages of Tal Meleh and al-Jabin in the northwestern countryside of Hama, and Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, Latmin, Hasraya and Al-Zakah in the northern countryside of Hama, and in the same context, the helicopters returned after being absent since yesterday, where they bombed Kafr Zita city and its vicinity, Al-Zakah area and M’aarkaba in the northern countryside of Hama by about 16 barrel bombs, also it rose to more than 540, the number of rocket shells launched by the regime forces since yesterday after midnight on areas in both northern and north-western countryside of Hama, the southern countryside of Idlib, the Syrian coastline and the southern countryside of Aleppo.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2726, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 26th of July 2019, and they are: 811 civilians including 204 children and 151 citizen women, and they are 139 including 31 children and 29 women, and 5 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 61 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 441 including 123 children, 76 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 100 people including 19 women and 17 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 70 citizens including 23 children and 12 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 989 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 614 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 926 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 26th of July 2019, the and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3255 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1097 civilians including 286 children under the age of eighteen and 215 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 96 people including 28 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1075 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 659 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1083 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3485 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1180 civilians including 314 children and 229 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 97 people including 28 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1142 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 673 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1163 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
