More than 810 civilians, including 355 children and women were killed in nearly 3 months of the most violent escalation in “Putin – Erdogan” area
Both the Syrian regime and its ally the Russian “guarantor” are targeting residential areas within the so-called “Putin – Erdogan” area, which extends from the northeastern Latakia mountains to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city and passes through countryside of Hama and Idlib, in order to displace and kill civilians, destroy public facilities and citizens’ property, where more than half a million people have been displaced since the beginning of the violent escalation on the 30th of April 2019, in addition to committing horrifying massacres, which killed hundreds of people and wounded thousands, while the factions also committed massacres against civilians in regime forces’-controlled areas and killed in Aleppo city.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of most violent escalation on the 30th of April 2019 until the 26th of July 2019 the death of 811 civilians including 204 children and 151 citizen women, and they are 139 including 31 children and 29 women, and 5 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 61 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 441 including 123 children, 76 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 100 people including 19 women and 17 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 70 citizens including 23 children and 12 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside.
In addition to killing the Syrian civilians, the Russian warplanes directly targeted public and medical facilities which receive the people who are wounded in the criminal strikes by the Russians and the Syrian regime, where the Syrian Observatory documented that 23 hospitals and health centers went out of service since the start of the most violent escalation by Russian strikes, and they are: the hospitals of al-Sham Central Hospital, Kafr Nubl Surgical Hospital, al-Sayyidah Mariam, al-Khatib, the Orient in Kafr Nubl, Nabd al-Hayat Hospital in Hass, al-Maghara Hospital and Sham Hospital in al-Lataminah town, specialized gynecological and children Hospital in Hawash village, Kiwan hospital in Kafr Aweed, Hospital 112 in Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Tah Hospital, in addition to destroying 4 health centers in al-Hbit, al-Rakaya, and Ma’aret Hurmah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and al-Ghab al-Awsat center.
