After hundreds of air and ground strikes…the regime forces regain the control of Al-Jabin village few hours after restoring the strategic village of Tal Melh north-west of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces managed to regain the control of Al-Jabin village in the north-western countryside of Hama after the withdrawal of the factions and jihadi groups from it after the midnight of Sunday – Monday, under the pressure of the violant and intense aerial and ground bombardment, after they withdrew yesterday evening from Tal Melh village, thus, the regime forces managed to restore the 2 villages which they lost for the factions on the 6th of June 2019, where they lost hundreds of their members in the battles of attrition for restoring them, as well as the failure of tens of earlier attempts despite hundreds of airstrikes and the great Russian assistance, and the SOHR documented more human losses as a result of the violent and intense bombardment and clashes since yesterday evening, where it rose to 14 including one jihadi, the number of fighters who were killed in the bombardment and clashes, while it rose to 8 including at least one officer, the number of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them who were killed in the same clashes.

In the same context, the helicopters dropped tens of barrel bombs after the midnight on the towns of Al-Lataminah and Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama, also Russian warplanes carried out heavy raids this morning on Al-Hbit and Abdeen in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, while the regime’s warplanes carried out several raids on Kafr Zita, Al-Lataminah and Al-Zakah in the northern countryside of Hama, and in connection to this, the regime forces shelled by tens of shells, areas in Hasraya, Kafr Zita, Al-Lataminah, Latmin, Al-Arba’in and Murak in the northern sector of Hama countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2785, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 29th of July 2019, and they are: 837 civilians including 209 children and 154 citizen women, and they are 141 including 31 children and 31 women, and 5 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 61 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 462 including 127 children, 77 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 102 people including 19 women and 17 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 71 citizens including 24 children and 12 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1012 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 630 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 936 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 29th of July 2019, the and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3314 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1123 civilians including 291 children under the age of eighteen and 218 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 97 people including 29 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1102 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 675 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1093 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3544 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1206 civilians including 319 children and 232 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 98 people including 29 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1165 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 685 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1173 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
