With intense air and ground support, the regime forces advance again in Hama countryside and become on the outskirts of Kafr Zita; the largest town in the northern countryside of Hama
Air and ground shelling continue violently on “Putin – Erdogan” area since after midnight of yesterday until the moment, where regime’s warplanes carried out 22 raids targeted Mdaya, Abedin, and al-Hbit in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and the towns of Morek, al-Lataminah, and the surroundings of al-Zakat in the northern countryside of Hama, also the helicopters dropped 10 barrel bombs on Hish, al-Rakaya, and al-Naqir south of Idlib, and Kafr Zita north of Hama, while the Russian warplanes carried out 12 airstrikes on Jabal al-Arba’in, Bsida, and Mdaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kafr Zita north of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, also the regime forces targeted with more than 360 ground strikes places in the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, in addition to the southern countryside of Idlib and Mountains of the coast.
Also the clashes continued at a violent pace until dawn of Wednesday, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions and jihadi groups, as part of the continuous offensive by the regime forces on areas in the northern countryside of Hama with air and land support, where they were able to control the strategic village of al-Arba’in after about a week controlling Hasraya in the area, thus, the regime forces became at the gates of the largest town in the northern countryside, Kafr Zita town, they also became on the outskirts of al-Zakat from its western side, where the regime forces are trying through this operation to control al-Lataminah and al-Zakat, and the Syrian Observatory documented casualties in the shelling and clashes since yesterday evening, where 8 fighters of the factions including 6 Jihadis were killed, in addition to the killing of 5 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored violent clashes between both parties in al-Hwaiz area in Sahl al-Ghab, in an attempt by the factions to disperse the regime in its attack north of Hama.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2945, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of August 2019, and they are: 879 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 153 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 67 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1077 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 675 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 989 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 7th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3474 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1165 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1163 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 720 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1146 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3704 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1248 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1230 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 733 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1226 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
