Clashes continue in Hama countryside as warplanes and helicopters intensify their strikes on the area

The “de-escalation” area is witnessing the continuation of air and ground bombardment and shelling, where the warplanes carried out more raids on Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and Latmin north of Hama, also Russian warplanes renewed the airstrikes on al-Lataminah town, while the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the town, in conjunction with clashes in the northern sector of Hama countryside, between the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Russian warplanes targeted headquarters of the National Liberation Front in Rasha village in Jabal Shashabo in Idlib countryside, where the headquarters includes observatories to eavesdrop on movement of the warplanes from the airbases and their take-off and movement in the skies, and these Russian strikes caused casualties, where 5 people were killed, they are: 4 of the observatories and a fighter of the National Front, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to information about other casualties.

In the same context, clashes continue at a violent pace in areas in the northern countryside of Hama, between the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against the regime forces and militias loyal to them, in a continuous attack by the latter on the area after they controlled al-Zakat and al-Arba’in during the past hours, also the battles are accompanied by continuous air and ground bombardments and information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while it rose to 35, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on Khan Shaykhun, Mdaya, Abedin, and Al-Hbit in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and Kafr Zita, Morek, al-Lataminah, and vicinity of al-Zakat in the northern countryside of Hama, while it rose to 28, the number of air strikes carried out by the Russian warplanes and targeted areas in Jabal al-Arba’in, Bsida, Mdaya, and Rasha in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kafr Zita north of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, while it rose to 26, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Hish, al-Rakaya, and al-Naqir south of Idlib, and Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah north of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2965, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of August 2019, and they are: 883 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 157 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 67 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1088 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 682 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 994 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 7th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3494 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1169 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1174 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 727 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1151 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3724 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1252 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1241 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 740 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1231 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
