About 1100 air and ground strikes target mountains of the coast and Hama and Idlib countryside today in conjunction with violent clashes kill 55 people
“Putin – Erdogan” area is witnessing the continuation of heavy air and ground bombardments, where it rose to 87, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on Khan Shaykhun, Abedin, al-Hbit, Kafrsajna, Tremla, Sukayk, al-Khwyn, al-Tamanah, Mdaya and al-Rkaya in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, also it rose to 41, the number of Russian strikes that targeted areas in al-Hbit and the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, Dweir al-Akrad in Sahl al-Ghab, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad in addition to Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, while it rose to 70, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, al-Hbit, Abedin, and Madaya south of Idlib, and Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah in the northern countryside of Hama, also it rose to 880, the number of shells and missiles that targeted areas in the southern and eastern countryside of Latakia, the northern and northwestern countryside of Hama, in addition to mountains of the coast and the southern countryside of Aleppo.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that clashes continue at a violent pace in the southern countryside of Idlib, between the factions and the jihadi groups against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the factions were able through a counterattack to regain control of Sukayk hill south Idlib but the regime forces regained control of it again with air and ground cover, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties in these battles which were accompanied by intensive air and ground bombardment and shelling, where it rose to 12, the number of casualties of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them who were killed in these clashes, also it rose to 15 fighters including at least 13 of the Jihadi groups, the number of fighters killed in the same clashes.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3103, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 10th of August 2019, and they are: 888 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 161 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1168 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 738 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1047 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 10th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3632 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1174 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1254 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 783 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1204 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3862 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1257 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1321 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 796 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1284 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
