About 700 air and ground strikes target “Putin – Erdogan” area in 11 hours as clashes continue violently south Idlib and in Latakia mountains

Air and ground bombardments continue at an increasing and violent pace by regime’s warplanes, helicopters, and the Russian warplanes, where it rose to 139, the number of raids and barrel bombs dropped and targeted Khan Shaykhun, Ma’aret Hurmah, Abedin, Mdaya, Kafr Ain, Tal Ass, Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytouna, al-Tamanah, and Maar Zita in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and al-Sayyid in the northern sector of Hama countryside, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Kurds, also it rose to 560, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces and targeted areas in the aforementioned places, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored the outbreak of violent clashes in Sukayk hill area in the southern countryside of Idlib, between the regime forces and militias loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions and the jihadi groups, in an attempt by both parties to take control of the hill, a few hours after the regime forces took control of al-Hbit town south of Idlib province, also the clashes renewed at a violent pace between both parties in areas at Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.

Where the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the regime forces supported by the Russian “guarantor” continue to follow the scorched earth policy through their hysterical bombardment, where thy carried out hundreds of raids, launched and dropped hundreds of barrel bombs, shells, and missiles supporting their ground advancement on the ground, where the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces were able to achieve their most important advancement In the countryside of Idlib since the 30th of April 2019; the date of the beginning of the violent escalation in “Putin – Erdogan” area and they managed to control al-Hbit town south Idlib at dawn on Sunday, the 11th of August 2019, after 5 failed attempts of advancement in the town, while the Observatory monitored hysterical air and ground strikes, where regime’s warplanes and helicopters carried out and dropped more than 75 strikes and barrel bombs, while the Russian warplanes carried out about 30 air strikes, all of which were targeted Kafr Zita al-Lataminah, and al-Sayyid in the northern countryside of Hama, Tal Ass, Kafr Ain, al-Hbit, Khan Shaykhun, Mdaya, and Abedin in the southern countryside of Idlib, as well as more than 400 shells and missiles by which the regime forces targeted the northern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory documented more casualties since after midnight due to the air and ground bombardments and battles, where 18 fighters were killed including 14 Jihadis, while 9 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them were also killed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented yesterday the killing of 21 members of the regime forces and their loyal militiamen, also 26 fighters at least including 19 jihadis were killed in the battles of the south of Idlib, also the Syrian Observatory documented heavy casualties as a result of the shelling, targeting, and clashes in Hama countryside and the coast’s mountains, where 17 fighters including 12 of the jihadi groups were killed, while 11 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to information about other casualties.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3150, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 11th of August 2019, and they are: 888 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 161 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 474 including 131 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1179 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 758 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1065 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 11th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3664 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1174 civilians including 300 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1272 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 802 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1213 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3894 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1257 civilians including 329 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1344 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 810 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1293 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
