With an intense fire cover that exceeded 885 air and ground strikes, the regime forces continue advancing south Idlib and target new areas southeast of the province

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of a child and the injury of others in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Hass town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the regime forces were able to regain control of Sukayk hill in the southern countryside of Idlib, after violent clashes against the factions and the jihadi groups in the area accompanied by air and ground strikes, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces have ignited a new area in the countryside of Idlib province and carried out an attack in al-Khwyn area southeast of Idlib, where they attacked positions of the jihadi groups and factions in the area, amid air and ground bombardment, and the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the continuous military operations, where it rose to 24 including 18 of the Jihadis, the number of fighters who were killed in air and ground strikes and clashes, while it rose to 14, the number of casualties of the regime forces and militias loyal to them, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.

In the same context it rose to 143, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes and barrel bombs dropped by their helicopters on areas in Khan Shaykhun, Ma’aret Hurmah, Abdeen, Mdaya, Kafr Ain, Tal Ass, al-Sheikh Mustafa, Om Zaytouna, al-Tamanah, Maar Zita, Hass, and al-Khoury in the southern and southeastern sector of Idlib countryside, and Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and al-Sayyid in the northern countryside of Hama, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, and ICARDA area south of Aleppo, also it rose to 39, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes targeting places in the above-mentioned areas, while it rose to 705, number of missiles and shells launched by the regime forces targeting areas in the northern countryside of Hama, the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, Latakia mountains, and the southern countryside of Aleppo.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3162, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 11th of August 2019, and they are: 889 civilians including 218 children and 161 citizen women, and they are 161 including 31 children and 35 women, and 6 of the civil defense and 3 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 68 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 475 including 132 children, 78 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 106 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1203 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 762 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 1070 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 11th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3691 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1175 civilians including 301 children under the age of eighteen and 225 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1289 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 807 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1227 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3921 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1258 civilians including 330 children and 239 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1356 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 820 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1307 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
