After the death of more than 70 people yesterday, exchange of targeting continues heavily on the eastern and western areas of Khan Shaykhun in conjunction with tens of air and ground strikes

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored intensive targeting by shells, missiles, and heavy machine guns between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them loyal against the factions and the jihadi groups in areas of Tal Ass, Mdaya, and Tar’ei in the southern countryside of Idlib since after midnight of yesterday until now, while regime’s warplanes targeted by at least 22 airstrikes after midnight and this morning on areas in Khan Shaykhun, al-Rakaya, Hish, Kafrsajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Tar’ei, and Ma’aret Hurmah, and the Russian warplanes carried out at least 15 raids on places in al-Rakaya, Arinbeh, the vicinity of Abdeen, Tar’ei, al-Tamanah in the southern countryside of Idlib, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, while the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on al-Naqir village south of Idlib at dawn of today, Saturday, also the regime forces targeted by more than 300 shells and missiles on places in the southern sector of Idlib countryside and the northern countryside of Hama in addition to Latakia Mountains, while the factions launched missile shells on Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood in Aleppo city which is controlled by the regime forces.

And in the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties in the air and ground shelling and bombings and clashes south of Idlib yesterday, where it rose to 34 including 26 Jihadis, the number of fighters who were killed since after midnight, also it rose to 21, the number of casualties of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, also the Syrian Observatory documented yesterday the death of 17 civilians in the air and ground shelling on Idlib countryside on Friday, including 6 children and 4 women, they were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” which bombarded a gathering of displaced people in the vicinity of Hass town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and a child was killed in bombardment by regime’s warplanes on Ariha city, and a child was killed in shelling by regime’s warplanes on al-Ghadqa village.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3462, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 17th of August 2019, and they are: 926 civilians including 229 children and 170 citizen women, and they are 188 including 39 children and 41 women, and 7 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 69 including 15 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 483 including 134 children, 80 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 107 people including 20 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1348 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 870 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1188 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 17th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 3991 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1212 civilians including 311 children under the age of eighteen and 234 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1434 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 915 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1345 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4221 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1295 civilians including 340 children and 248 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1501 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1017 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1425 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
