Regime’s warplanes escalate their airstrikes on the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man as new displacement wave takes place in the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a civilian in missile shelling targeted Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama a few days ago, while the regime forces continue their missile shelling on Kabani hills in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, since the evening of yesterday until the moment, after the failure of their attacks on the area during this period, where the Jihadi factions managed to repel 5 repeated attempts by the regime forces to go deep in hills of Kabani town, amid hysterical land and air support, they also managed to damage a tank and a bulldozer during their advancement in al-Zwiqat hill, and the Syrian Observatory documented casualties in the shelling and clashes, where 6 members of the regime forces and militias loyal to them were killed while 3 of the Jihadi groups were killed, and in the same context, the Jihadis factions shelled positions of the regime forces in Tal al-Nemr in the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, at a time when the south of Idlib area is witnessing retreat and stop of clashes since yesterday.

In the same context, warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” bombed areas in al-Tamanah, Tar’ei, Ma’aret Hurmah, and al-Tah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, while helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on Hish, Sheikh Damis, Sehyan, Rakaya, Marshourin, al-Tamanah, Tahtaya, Bsida, Kafrsajna, Jarjanaz, al-Ghadqa, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Deir Sharqi, and al-Tah, while regime’s warplanes carried out air strikes targeting al-Tamanah, Jarjanaz, al-Ghadqa, Marshourin, Maarrat al-Nu’man, al-Tah, and Deir al-Sharqi in the southern and southeastern country of Idlib, also the regime forces launched tens of shells on areas in the southern countryside of Idlib and Sahl al-Ghab, in addition to the western countryside of Hama and Latakia countryside, and the escalation of aerial bombardment on the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man; comes in conjunction with the beginning of a new wave of displacement among the civilians from the area, while it seems that the regime forces plan to advance towards these areas.

Yesterday the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that it rose 12 including 3 children, the number of citizens who were killed today, Tuesday, as a result of aerial and ground bombardment which targeted “Putin – Erdogan” area, they are: a man and a child were killed in Russian raids on Hish village, 2 men were killed in Russian airstrikes on Kafr Nubl town, and 2 men were killed in Russian airstrike on Maarrat al-Nu’man city, a child was killed in Russian airstrikes on Banin village in Jabal Al-Zawiya, a child was killed in rocket shelling that targeted Kafr Hamra village in the western countryside of Aleppo, a citizen was killed due to barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Al-Ghadqah village east of Idlib, a citizen was killed due to barrel bombs by helicopters that targeted Maarshmarin village the south-east of Idlib, a citizen was killed due to Russian raids that targeted Al-Tah village in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and a member of the civil defense died affected by the injury he had as a result of aerial bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Sahl Al-Ghab area in Hama countryside, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of injuries some of whom have seriously wounded.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3686, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 21st of August 2019, and they are: 963 civilians including 240 children and 172 citizen women, and they are 212 including 43 children and 41 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 71 including 16 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 493 including 140 children, 82 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 108 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1463   fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 954 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1260 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4214 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1248 civilians including 322 children under the age of eighteen and 236 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1549 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 999 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1417 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4444 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1331 civilians including 351 children and 250 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1616 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1101 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1497 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
