Warplanes of the Syrian regime and the Russian guarantor continue to escalate their bombardment on the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man raising the today’s death toll to 11 civilians

Warplanes of the Syrian regime and the Russian guarantor are still continuing to escalate their bombardment on areas in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man and the areas of the south of Idlib, and in this context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 citizens at least and the injury of 10 others as a result of airstrikes carried out by the Russian warplanes on Al-Deir Al-Gharbi town in the southern countryside of Idlib, raising to 11, the number of citizens who were killed today within “Putin – Erdogan” area, they are: 3 citizens who were killed as a result of bombardment by the Russian warplanes on Al-Deir Al-Gharbi town south of Idlib, 3 including  a child who were killed in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Al-Bashiriyya village east of Jisr Al-Shughur, 2 citizens and a child girl who were killed due to bombardment by barrel bombs on Tell Mannas village south-east of Idlib, a citizen was killed due to raids by the regime’s warplanes on Maarshmarin in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside, and a woman died affected by the injury she had as a result of earlier bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Ariha city.

While it rose to 100, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on areas in al-Tamanah, Jarjanaz, al-Ghadqa, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Marshourin, al-Tah, al-al-Deir al-Sharqi, Talmanas, Ma’arrat al-Sin, al-Bashiriyya, Hzarin, Hersh Bsonqul, Saraqib, and Jarjanaz in Idlib countryside, and ICARDA area and Zerba south of Aleppo, also it rose to 75, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Hish, Sheikh Damis, Sehyan, Rakaya, Marshourin, al-Tamanah, Tahtaya, Bsida, Kafrsajna, Jarjanaz, al-Ghadqa, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Deir Sharqi, and al-Tah, while it rose to 55, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on places in al-Tamanah, Tar’ei, Ma’aret Hurmah, Al-Tah, Deir Sharqi, Deir Gharbi, Maarshurin, Al-Ghadqah and Jarjnaz in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad, and the outskirts of Kafr Halab in the western countryside of Aleppo, while the regime forces targeted by more than 850 shells and missiles, areas in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, the southern countryside of Aleppo as well as Jabal Al-Akrad.

While the Syrian Observatory documented human losses in the ranks of the regime forces, the factions and jihadis, where it documented the death of 28 fighters including 25 jihadis who were killed today, Wednesday, in aerial and ground bombardment and clashes in the area of Tal Tar’ei (the hill of Tar’ei) and the west of the hill as well as the area of Kabana north of Latakia, also the SOHR documented 10  casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militias loyal to them.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3735, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 21st of August 2019, and they are: 972 civilians including 242 children and 173 citizen women, and they are 215 including 43 children and 41 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 73 including 16 women and 11 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 500 including 142 children, 83 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 109 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1491 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 979 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1270 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4263 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1259 civilians including 324 children under the age of eighteen and 237 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1577  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1024 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1427 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4493 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1342 civilians including 353 children and 251 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1644 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1126 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1507 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
