More than 80000 civilians forced by the ground and air strikes of the Russians and the regime to displace from the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man within 72 hours, including tens of thousands of displaced people of Hama and Idlib countryside

As soon as the regime forces went deep in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib after a violent operation displaced all inhabitants of the area and the surrounding areas; a new operation that is no less ferocious than the previous one has begun of hysteria air and ground shelling along with the Russian “guarantor,” targeting villages of the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and the goal is always the same, which is forcing civilians to flee their areas, where squadrons of regime’s warplanes, helicopters and the Russian warplanes targeted the area with hundreds of airstrikes and barrel bombs in addition to hundreds of shells and missiles using tanks and artilleries, committing massacres against civilians, also the public facilities and places of worship have not been spared from the hysterical bombardments, where more than 5 mosques in al-Tah, Jarjanaz, and Talmanas were severely damaged by airstrikes in addition to destroying civilian homes, this comes in a systematic plan as happened previously south of Idlib and in the northern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the displacement of more than 80000 civilians from the eastern villages of Maarrat al-Nu’man since Monday, the 19th of August 2019, until the morning of the 22nd of the same month, against the backdrop of the hysterical escalation by the regime and its Russian ally, also it is worth noting that tens of thousands of people who were displaced from the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man are already displaced people from the northern countryside of Hama and southern countryside of Idlib, i.e. they are living a displacement inside a displacement, and these displacements take place mostly towards the north of Idlib at the border with Iskenderun, to places where the greed of war traders prevails such as high prices of rental houses, where they demand very expensive prices without any reaction by the parties controlling the area; despite decision of the Rescue Government, and the Syrian civilian remains -as usual- the only victim of the Syrian war.
