Few days after targeting vicinity of the Turkish column, regime’s warplanes bomb the vicinity of the Turkish observation post in the al-Sarman area east of Maarrat al-Nu’man

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored airstrikes carried out by regime warplanes on the vicinity of the Turkish observation post in al-Sarman area in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, where the raids targeted an area located about 300 meters away of the Turkish point, in a scene that has been repeated recently, where a few days ago the vicinity of the Turkish column on Maarrat al-Nu’man highway was targeted, and the aerial bombardment comes after a ground bombardment carried out by the regime forces earlier on Turkish points which caused casualties and injuries.

In the same context, forces of the Syrian regime continue to sweep Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, after they completed their deployment yesterday in all neighborhoods of the city days after the withdrawal of fighters from it, while the area located south of Khan Shaykhun city which at town and villages of the northern countryside of Hama; are witnessing a state of anticipation among the fighters who remained in them, whether as Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham claimed that its fighters are present there until the moment; or the Turkish point and fighters of the Corps close to Turkey in Morek, in the same context, the violent clashes continue between the factions and jihadi groups against the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, in areas at Kabani Hills in Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, accompanied by continuous airstrikes in addition to the exchange of ground shelling, and confirmed information about casualties and injuries in the ranks of both parties.

While it rose to 45, the number of raids carried out by regime’s warplanes on Marshourin, Talmanas, Deir al-Sharqi, Jarjanaz, al-Halba, al-Sarman, al-Tamanah, al-Hamidiya, and Kafr Nubl in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, and al-Bawabiyyah south of Aleppo, also it rose to 52, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on areas in Kafruma, al-Ftirah, Hish, Tahtaya, Dier al-Gharbi, Talmanas, al-Ghadqa, Jarjanaz, al-Raffa, and al-Halba, while it rose to 26, the number of airstrikes carried out by the Russian warplanes on Kabani in the northern countryside of Latakia, al-Ghadqa, outskirts of Hamdiyyeh in the southern countryside of Idlib, al-Sermaniyyeh, and Dwayr al-Akrad, also it also rose to 255, the number of shells and missiles launched by the regime forces on places in the northwestern countryside of Hama, the southeastern countryside of Idlib, Latakia mountains, and the southern and western countryside of Aleppo.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3739, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 22nd of August 2019, and they are: 976 civilians including 243 children and 174 citizen women, and they are 216 including 43 children and 42 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 75 including 16 women and 12 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 501 including 142 children, 83 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 109 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1491 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 979 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1270 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4265 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1261 civilians including 325 children under the age of eighteen and 238 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1577  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1024 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1427 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4495 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1344 civilians including 354 children and 252 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1644 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1126 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1507 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
