Without any clashes, the regime forces take control of Kafr Zita town and hills east of the Turkish observation post in Morek

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 citizens -including a child- and the injury of more than 6 others, in the fall of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on areas in Maarrat al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib after midnight of yesterday, and in another context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces continue their advancement within the area they besiege south of khan Shaykhun city, where they have taken control of Kafr Zita town -the largest town of northern countryside of Hama- without any resistance or clashes, in addition to controlling hills east of the Turkish point in Morek town, where the fate of the Turkish point there is still unknown, thus, it rose to 23, the number of areas that the regime forces have been able to control with Russian support since the collapse of the ceasefire on the 5th of August 2019, they are: al-Arba’in, al-Zakat, al-Sakhr, al-Jisat, al-Sayyad and its hill, Kafr Zita and points west of it in the northern countryside of Hama, and Khan Shaykhun, Sukayk and its hill, Tar’ei and its hill, al-Hbit, Abdeen, Mughr al-Hamam, Mughr al-Hanta, Kafr Ayn, Tal Ass, Mdaya, al-Mardam, al-Mantar Farms, Kafridun, and al-Sabaghiyyeh in the southern countryside of Idlib.

And in the same context, regime’s warplanes carried out at least 17 airstrikes in the vicinity of al-Tamanah in the southern countryside of Idlib, al-Ghadqa, Jarjanaz, Deir Sharqi, and al-Tah in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, while the Russian warplanes carried about 16 raids on places in al-Tamanah, al-Tah, Tahtaya, the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun, al-Ghadqa, and Jarjanaz in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the helicopters dropped about 24 barrel bombs on Maarrat al-Nu’man, al-Ghadqa, Jarjanaz, Deir al-Sharqi, al-Tah, Hish town and al-Hamdiyyeh, also the regime forces launched tens of artillery shells and missiles targeting areas in country of Idlib and Hama, Sahl al-Ghab, and Latakia countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3761, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 23rd of August 2019, and they are: 979 civilians including 244 children and 174 citizen women, and they are 216 including 43 children and 42 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 78 including 16 women and 12 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 501 including 142 children, 83 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 109 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 79 citizens including 26 children and 13 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1499 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 959 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1281 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 23rd of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4287 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1264 civilians including 326 children under the age of eighteen and 238 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 105 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1585  fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1031 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1438 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4517 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1347 civilians including 355 children and 252 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 106 people including 31 children and 16 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1654 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1127 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1509 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
