In conjunction with the violent clashes east of Khan Shaykhun, the regime forces carry out a new advancement attempt in hills of Kabani at Jabal al-Akrad

The sky of Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia is witnessing the flight of 4 helicopters in its airspace, in conjunction with dropping barrel bombs over Kabani area amid air strikes carried out by regime’s warplanes, while the violent clashes are taking place in places in the area between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the factions and jihadi groups, in a new attempt by the first to advance in the area, also the clashes are accompanied by exchange of ground shelling between both parties and damaging a vehicle of the regime forces in the area after being targeted by the factions, and confirmed information about casualties and wounded, and in the same context, the clashes between both parties continue in places east of Khan Shaykhun city in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where the regime forces with intensive air support and heavy ground shelling; are trying to regain the areas they lost to the factions hours ago, while the factions and Jihadi groups are seeking to hold their ground in the sites they have advanced to in the villages of al-Sallumiyah, Abu Omar, and other locations in the area.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 3963, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 27th of August 2019, and they are: 1007 civilians including 248 children and 177 citizen women, and they are 223 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 79 including 16 women and 13 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 514 including 144 children, 85 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 111 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 80 citizens including 26 children and 14 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1590 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1049 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1366 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 27th of August 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4491 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1292 civilians including 330 children under the age of eighteen and 241 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 106 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 18 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1676 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1084 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1523 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4721 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1375 civilians including 359 children and 255 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 107 people including 31 children and 19 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1743 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1186 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1603 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
