Reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that 2 separate meetings were held just before sunset of Wednesday, the 4th of September 2019, in Bab al-Hawa border area with Iskenderun, between Turkish officials and between military, civil, political and economic parties, while the second meeting was held between the same parties and between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham represented by a delegate of the Joulani, who is of Arab nationality, and the meeting with the Turkish side was about the future of the area under the military operation by the regime and the Russians, where the Turks stressed the following:

“1. Turkey will not cede or accept the attempts to open the M4 and M5 by force under the policy of imposing it as a fact.

2- The Turkish army will remain in Idlib Province. The presence of the army in the province is connected to finding a political solution that preserves the rights of the Syrian people.

  1. There isn’t any agreement between Ankara and Moscow to withdraw from specific areas in Idlib and hand them over to Russia. Considered this news to be denied and untrue.

4- Emphasizing the support of Free Army’s factions in the province and strengthening their power and consider that the future of Idlib; is attached to the extent to which they are able to stand in the face of the Russian-led operation.”

While Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in its meeting spoke about the demonstrations against it, and that those who came out against it were agents of the regimes and the Russians, and stressed its ability to face the Russians and the regime forces, and putting a new mechanism of action to follow and try to advance in one of the areas controlled by the regime, and the preparations for a near military action.
