Cautious calm returns to the four sectors of “Putin – Erdogan” area after a series of rocket shelling that targeted the area during this day

Activists of the Syrian Observatory for human Rights monitored the fall of several rocket shells today evening on places in the area of Jazraya and other areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, other than that, cautious calm has been prevailing “Putin – Erdogan” area after a series of ground strikes carried out by the regime forces on the area during this day, and the SOHR published hours ago, that the calm still prevails the whole area of “Putin-Erdogan” even that the ground shelling has stopped, amid continued cessation of airstrikes since the evening of Friday, the 13th of September, and this calm comes in conjunction with the start of trilateral summit represented by the meeting of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani; in the Turkish capital Ankara to discuss the developments of the Syrian issue, 7 months after the last trilateral summit of the three forces controlling the Syrian decision, as the Russians and the Iranians control the Syrian regime, Turkey controls the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib and the surrounding countryside in addition to areas of “Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch” in Aleppo countryside, and the period between the previous and present trilateral summit witnessed casualties within the so-called “Putin – Erdogan” area, which extends from the northeastern mountains of Latakia to the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo city and passes through the countryside of Hama and Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4142, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 15th of September 2019, and they are: 1064 civilians including 264 children and 189 citizen women, and they are 228 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 125 people including 22 women and 23 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1672 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1088 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1406 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 13th of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4667 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1347 civilians including 345 children under the age of eighteen and 253 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1758 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1123 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1562 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4898 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1430 civilians including 374 children and 267 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1824 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1225 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1645 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
