For the first time since the new ceasefire came into effect, the regime forces clash against the fighters and advance north of Khan Shaykhun

As the new ceasefire enters its 25th day within “Putin – Erdogan” area, violent clashes broke out at midnight of yesterday between the Islamic factions against the regime forces, in Jaafar Hill area northeast of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the regime forces managed through it to advance and control of several points in the vicinity of the hill, after violent clashes lasted for several consecutive hours and killed 4 members of the regime and 2 fighters of the factions, and in the same context, the regime forces launched artillery shells on Rakaya, Sajna, and Hish in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kabani area in Latakia countryside, and the Syrian Observatory monitored yesterday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rotation of several helicopters affiliated to the regime forces, dropping barrel bombs on Kabana area north of Latakia, while the SOHR documented the death of a citizen affected by the injury he had in earlier aerial bombardment that targeted Saraqeb city east of Idlib, also activists of the SOHR monitored rocket shelling carried out by the regime forces tareting areas in the western and southern countryside of Aleppo, while the regime forces shelled the area of the Abandoned Battalion in the eastern countryside of Idlib by heavy artillery, thus, it rose to about 120, the number of rocket shells which targeted “Putin – Erdogan” area during this day, where they targeted the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, Al-Deir Al-Sharqi, Barsah village, Maarrat Al-Sin, Al-Naqir, Maarrat Hurmah, Rakaya, Sheikh Mustafa and Maar Zita in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the area of Kabana in the northern countryside of Latakia, in addition to targeting by Islamic and rebel factions by rocket shells to positions of the regime forces in the area of Madaya town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4149, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 23rd  of September 2019, and they are: 1066 civilians including 264 children and 189 citizen women, and they are 228 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 127 people including 22 women and 23 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1673 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1088 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1410 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 23rd of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4674 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1349 civilians including 345 children under the age of eighteen and 253 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1759 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1123 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1566 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4905 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1432 civilians including 374 children and 267 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1825 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1225 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1649 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
