In order to recruit children and young people and exploiting the conditions of their displacement, “Jahid With Yourself” campaign from light speech to sectarian plays and hate speeches

In the framework of attracting youth in areas of control of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” and other factions, and pushing them to join their ranks, and in a continuation for the “Jahid with yourself” campaign in Idlib areas; especially exploiting the areas where the displaced people are located near the border with Iskenderun north of Idlib, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham established a forum in Sarmada town, in which a person appeared acting as if he is a Shiite cleric, delivering a speech in front of a group of people that incite hatred between the Shiite and Sunni communities, and trying to speak an Iraqi dialect he said: “Dear ones, we want to let you know now that you are going to a holy war… to Syria, to the Levant, to kill the Sunnis.”

He also said: “you are now revenging from the sons of Umayyad, you are now Shiites, Shiites of Iran, Afghanistan, Shiites of Hezbollah, Lebanon, and Palestine, you will go to the Levant to a holy war, we prepare you to go to demolish their mosques and build Husseiniyas.”

He ended by saying: “If there are men among the Sunnis, let them come forward.”

It is worth mentioning that part of the forum was filmed and spread on social networking sites, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 8th of September 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham opening requests for joining its 4 armies, in order to increase the number of its members, these armies are: Army of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Army of Omar Bin al-Khattab, Army of Osman Bin Affan, Army of Ali bin Abi Talib, it also requested “snipers”, and in the same context, on Friday, the 6th of September 2019, the supporters and Sharia men of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” held an incitation call meeting in Idlib city, as part of “Jahid Binafsik” (carry out Jihad with yourself) campaign, where the meeting had several speeches calling for joining Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and religious chants, with the aim of gaining sympathy of civilians and bringing young people and boys to their ranks.
