With the new unilateral cease-fire declared by Russia, entering its 25th day in the region called “the fourth and final De-escalation not controlled by the regime”, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that violent clashes broke out midnight on Tuesday between regime forces and mercenary gangs supported by Turkey, on the Tal Jafar axis northeast of the city of Khan Sheikhoun in the southern countryside of Idlib.

According to the observatory, the regime forces were able to advance and control several points in the hill area after fierce clashes that lasted for several hours continuously, resulted in the killing four members of the regime forces and two mercenaries.

Meanwhile, the regime forces shelled Rakaya, Sejnah and Heish in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kabana axis in Lattakia countryside.

The Syrian Observatory recorded yesterday evening the rotation of several helicopters belonging to the Syrian regime to throw explosive barrels on the Kabana axis north of Lattakia, as the activists of the Syrian Observatory monitored a missile shelling carried out by regime forces targeting the rural areas of Aleppo western and southern, while the regime forces bombarded heavy artillery axis al-Kateba al-Mahjora in the eastern countryside of Idlib, the outskirts of the city of Maaret al-Numan, al-Deir Sharqe, the village of Barsa, Maarat al-Sain, Nakir, Maarat Harma, Rakaya, Sheikh Mustafa and Ma’arzita in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the axis of Kabana in the northern countryside of Latakia.

Meanwhile, the mercenary gangs of Turkey shelled the positions of regime forces with rocket-propelled grenades in the axis of the town of Mdayaya in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Since the beginning of the escalation in the area of ​​”De-escalation “last, on April 30 this year, 4,155 people have been killed, according to the Syrian Observatory, including 1,066 civilians killed in the bombing of Russian warplanes and regime aircraft and the ground cross-border shelling between the regime forces and Turkey’s mercenaries.
